Microkat G4 is a new form of a stock ROM, and a form of challenge to Samsung and their bloatware.
Currently on 410 MB, this ROM aims to make the phone run on the least bloatware possible, a good aid to gamers.
This ROM is public domain; you can help and further remove bloatware to make it less in size. You can also
use it as a project starter of your own.
This is not intended, in its present form, as a daily driver.
What is Removed:
- I can't remember. I was deleting everything that came under my sight.
What is Kept:
- Settings (of course ...)
- Messaging
- Phone
- Contacts
- TouchWiz Home (that should be removed, too ...)
- Camera
Known Bugs:
- Messaging app keeps throwing FCs.
To Be Done:
- Further decreasing the ROM size.
- Fixing the Messaging app FC.
- Presentation, decoration and overall form.
- A DedS kernel, when that project becomes more stable.
- Performance improvements.
