Yes we changed a few things use cr-8.0-hmp branch in common tree and common vendor tree

Kernel should be sdm660 not clover one and master branch

Basicly you can use my Last updsted carbon manifest (in manifest repo) and just Change clover tree to lineage-17.1 branch

Cool, rotation sensor is working again using cr-8.0-hmp branches for device/xiaomi/sdm660-common and vendor/xiaomi/sdm660-common.

There is one problem left: Flip cover seems to work because the events for lid open & close show up in logcat. However, the display does not turn off when I close the cover. Any idea what's going wrong here? Am I just missing a setting or is this something that happens to other users too?

I came from Xiaomi.EU and tried to install the last LineageOS following the steps on the first message, and everything went OK until the first reboot. After the first reboot, the tablet get stuck at the LineageOS logo for about 1-2 seconds and then poweroff.
Since then, I have tried a coupple of things and after each flash attemp, sometimes system boots normally (until first reboot, whene get stuck again) or directly get stuck without booting.

I have read about fw and vendor flash ("fw_clover_miui_MIPAD4_9.8.29_6647b25a58_8.1" and "fw-vendor_clover_9.8.29") and have tried both of them, but still not working.
I had twrp installed previously so everything has been done from there (update twrp itself and install LineageOS and Gapps).
The tested Gapps have been "pico, full and stock".

I have searched about that problem on the post but have found nothing, so a litlle help would be great...

How come? Closing the lid works perfectly here, display switches off.

I have been testing and after a few flashes I can say:

• This problem is happening to me only with LineageOS. I have installed a custom ROM of MIUI12 and it's going OK.
• The hangs on boot are not related to the first boot, the second one nor nothing similar. They are completely random.
  After install LineageOS and Gapps, I try to restart. If it hangs, I try again and again.
  Once every 10-12 attempts it boots correctly, so if I don't need to reboot I can use the tablet normally. The problem comes if I have to reboot.

Can I do something for get a log or similar when booting to try to find the problem?

Are updates still being developed for this rom? Now we finally have OTA but no updates come in. There have been Android security updates released I assume since May? Anyway, I still love LO on my devices. Thanks!

Please do not install lineage-17.1-20200719-UNOFFICIAL-clover released.
It have broken A2DP (kernel crashes and shut down the device when A2DP is connected and something is played).
Build removed until fixed.

You need to get full safetynet pass (and 'device certified' result in playstore settings).

Install Magisk if haven't, enable MagiskHide, install MagiskHide Props Config module (SafetyPatch module worked for a long time but now is detected by new Google checks for basicIntegrity and causes SafetyNet fail).

I'm very sorry for failed update (it's my fault though I have not tested it enough before releasing - sorry for this).

But, however, I will make my best to maintain this rom to give the community stable and fast LineageOS 17.1 clovrer ROMs.

Oh, you seem to be a very lucky man.
I meet this issue with my WH-100M3 headset, and this issue has repeated over reboots - without a BT headset the clover works fine, but with the headset in A2DP mode connected it just shuts down after 3..4 seconds without any audio played to the headset.

Hi,
I have a notification for the June update but it does not download stating internet disconnection. Is there a workaround or are we waiting for an official solution? Thanks for all the hard work.
