I had a similar issue with same error and I disabled FAST BOOT and updated the bios and it worked after that. This may not be same problem but it's what fixed the Trying to Terminate EFI error...
Thank you for your response. Was this the same issue also with a samsung ativ 500t? Kind regards.

serious crash/bug with primeos..

Thanks for creating such a neat Android OS for PC.
Works fine with my HP Probook 6470b with i7-3840QM laptop, but...
one SERIOUS problem with another laptop of mine...
i tried first standard version, and then classic ... both have the same issue...
as soon as i connect to wifi network, the whole prime os crashes and the computer reboots... :-O
it maintains the connection for 10-30 secs prior to doing a forced reboot without any warnings or such ....

here's the specs of the problematic laptop, might help u a bit...

Computer Brand Name: Hewlett-Packard HP 250 G4 Notebook PC
Processor Name: Intel Celeron N3050
CPU Brand Name: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N3050 @ 1.60GHz
CPU Code Name: Braswell
Motherboard Model: Hewlett-Packard 80C5
BIOS Manufacturer: Insyde Software
BIOS Date: 12/24/2019
BIOS Version: F.30
UEFI BIOS: Capable

..and the most important thing on this case...
Wireless Network Adapter

Device Name: Broadcom BCM43142 802.11b/g/n Wireless Network Adapter
[PCI Express]
Version: 1.1
Maximum Link Width: 1x
Maximum Link Speed: 2.5 GT/s
Device/Port Type: PCI Express Endpoint
Slot Implemented: No
Emergency Power Reduction: Not Supported

Link to Official HP Support page with specs and drivers.

I hope you get the thing resolved, I was suppose to give the laptop to my mother as an surprise, she has no clue u can have android on a pc laptop.
I have the same issue with my hp Elite X2 G3; have you found a fix?

I downloaded the rom from the official page, but... I can't play any games with Gaming Center, the ads in the app ruin the gaming experience and sometimes the game crashes. If I disable it, games won't load. :-(

I really love the ROM but they added that annoying adware. If it is true that they do it to make money from advertising, they must be careful that the environment does not become unstable. The essence of usability is lost and we end up with the defective system to abandon it and move on to another less annoying alternative.

Hello,
I want to install PrimeOS in a virtual machine to test it.

I have tried with Virtualbox and VMware.

I can do the installation but PrimeOS never boot.
I have tried with BIOS and UEFI, with GPT and without GPT,with Grub and without Grub.

I have follow several tutorials but it is always the same : PrimeOS does not boot.

Help would be greatly appriciated :)

can I turn off auto-mount in prime os?
My friend Jossers77 made a mod-build where he fixed disk mounting error (for 7 and 11 android). You can download this mod from the link (aopc.dev)
Bluetooth is not working for my computer. Please fix.
On 11/12 Android, bluetooth does not work on all builds. Nobody can fix this. If you need it, roll back to Android 7/8/9.

If you have problems installing games / programs through Google Play?? - It is necessary to install mod builds, or download Phoenix OS / POSROG. These builds are best suited for games (PUBG and Free Fire) + Keymapper

My primeOs Classic has no download space on PlayStore.

Yesterday, i installing this OS. Everything works very well except that when I want to download an application on playstore. It tells me that I don't have enough space, but i have 50% free storage.

20GB on disk partition.

What should I do to solve this?

Exact same issue... (Win11 60Gb, Prime 60Gb on SSD). Prime tells me we have 120Gb and 60GB free but wont install anything). Pity cos it looks very nice :-(

Hello. I have an old desktop with this hardware :
CPU : Intel core i3 3240 3.2GHz ( 4CPU )
Ram : 04 Gb ddr 3
Gpu : Nvidia geforce gtx 1050 oc asus edition
Storage 256 gb ssd + 1 tb hdd ( 1tb hdd is empty )
Motherboard : Esonic H61 which doesn't have the secure boot option and I can't boot using UEFI since it will make the pc stuck at the esonic logo.
Now the issue is that I tried all version of prime os I use the install to specific HDD it installs without issue however when I report and boot the hdd that has the prime os it shows above all stuff then black screen with a blinking cursor. Any solution would be great and one more thing the usb installer works greate even with an intel celeron n3350 or similar to that.

Hello and first of all big praise for this implementation!

However, I have some problems. It is not possible to install the image on the hard disk. I'm using version 2.1.3 on a Toshiba Tecra A11 with an Intel i3-350M. No matter what filesystem I choose, with or without grub, after reboot the system doesn't find any operating system.
As an aside, I noticed that when I format with ext3, ext4 is used...
The Live CD works great though, no problems.

I've just tried it on my old Latitude E7250 and it works great except for the fact that, the display sleep option completely put the whole device to sleep rather than just switch off the display like how any smartphone does.

Therefore, no background activity to receive notifications that messages or mail have been received until you wake up the device.

Is there anyway to do that? Just leave the computer running with it's display switch off and all background activities keep running?

Thanks!

Note: Use PrimeOS installer exe program for installing in windows systems. The download link is below. For non-windows systems, you can download our iso image and follow the steps below to install PrimeOS.

USB stick / Flash Drive guide:
    1. For this method, you need the Etcher / Rufus, PrimeOS iso file. We recommend you use a decent-speed USB drive (8GB or larger).
    2. For flashing PrimeOS to the USB drive, plug in your USB drive and launch Etcher / Rufus. Now select the PrimeOS iso file, create the bootable USB.
    3. Note: Be careful with the steps below and backup your data if you're not sure about what you are doing.
    4. For installing PrimeOS on your HDD/SSD/SDcard, first, create a new partition for PrimeOS ( suggested minimum size is 16GB ).
    5. Turn off the secure boot of your device and then boot up the PrimeOS USB by pressing Esc or F12, depending on your bios menu key, and selecting the PrimeOS USB to boot from.
    6. Select the ‘Install PrimeOS option from the GRUB menu.
    7. The installer will load, and you will have an option to choose which partition you created earlier. Choose it, and select Ext4 for formatting the drive.
    8. When it asks if you want to install Grub, select YES.
    9. When finished, the installer will then ask if you want to run PrimeOS, you can just reboot here, and make sure you remove the USB drive.

Do you already have PrimeOS and want to update manually? Read post #2851

Important announcement (Updated on Feb 16 2019)

Hello everyone, we will soon release PrimeOS 0.4.3, as you all know, we normally release both 32 bit and 64 bit variants, but starting from PrimeOS 0.4.3, this has changed, we will now have three variants depending on hardware, please read below very carefully and decide which one suits you best.

Note - We are not releasing OTA for 0.4.3 since we want every user to install the correct variant for their hardware.

    1. PrimeOS Mainline 64 bit (for newest systems 2014+) -
Use this variant only if you have a cpu which was manufactured in or after year 2014, For example -> [ Intel Core i series 5th gen or above OR Intel celeron N4000 OR AMD A8 7410 etc. ] Also make sure that your CPU has SSE 4.2 instruction support, just enter your cpu model on google and you can find all this info easily. This variant of PrimeOS will work well for both Intel and AMD GPUs, however, if you use a desktop and have a Nvidia GPU, you should not use this variant as it will cause lockups and will lead to freezes, but if you have a laptop, your Intel gpu will work well instead of Nvidia. In case you get any graphic glitches on this variant, you should switch to PrimeOS Standard.
This variant of PrimeOS will be using 4.19 kernel and 18.1.0 mesa, once you install this variant of PrimeOS, you will always get OTA of this variant only, in case you want to switch to the other variant (for older systems), you must re-install PrimeOS.
    2. PrimeOS Standard 64 bit (for newer systems 2011+) -
Use this variant only if you have a cpu which was manufactured in or after year 2011, For example -> [ Intel Core i series 2nd gen or above OR Intel celeron N3350 OR AMD A8 5550M etc. ] Also make sure that your CPU has SSE 4.2 instruction support, just enter your cpu model on google and you can find all this info easily. This variant of PrimeOS will work well for Older Intel, AMD, Nvidia GPUs.
This variant of PrimeOS will be using 4.14 kernel and 17.1.10 mesa, once you install this variant of PrimeOS, you will always get OTA of this variant only, in case you want to switch to the other variant (for older systems), you must re-install PrimeOS.
    3. PrimeOS Classic 32 bit (for older systems) -
Use this variant if you have a cpu which was manufactured before year 2011, For example ->[ Intel Core i series 1st gen or below OR Intel Pentium dual core OR Intel Pentium G620 OR AMD Phenom II X6 1100T etc. ] Just enter your cpu model on google and you can find this info easily. This variant of PrimeOS will work well for all Old Intel, Old AMD and Old Nvidia GPUs. This version will also work on 32-bit systems, In case you cannot boot this variant of PrimeOS, you should try using PrimeOS standard or mainline.
This variant of PrimeOS will be using 4.14 kernel and 17.1.10 mesa, once you install this variant of PrimeOS, you will always get OTA of this variant only, in case you want to switch to the other variant (for older systems), you must re-install PrimeOS.

    Hey guys,

Thank you all for giving us the support and love. Upon a lot of requests we are thinking about releasing an official 32 bit image.
Also there will be a new experimental build which will be coming with latest cutting edge linux mainline kernels i.e. it will be having the latest up to date device drivers.
The experimental build will not be inline with the current stable-BETA releases but will follow a different release pattern.

It will be coming with the following differences:

    • Latest PrimeOS system patches
    • Latest mainline kernel
    • Any new experimental PrimeOS system features

This will also help us making the OS stable in a faster and efficient manner.
    Stay tuned
