Change Log (from v3):
App Changes
-Added Google Apps (Gmail, Market, Talk) (sync will still eat your battery, turn it off from the power control widget and turn it back on only when you need it)
-Upgraded Maps to version 3.2.1 with Turn by Turn navigation (US only)
-Added Terminal Emulator
-Removed Provision and added Google Setup Wizard
System Fixes
-Removed /xbin folder for size (we still fit under regular SPL!, besides, who uses those binaries?)
-Added rosystem/rwsystem so you can easily change the system partition from read-only to read/write and back
-Rolled back kernel to 2.6.27 (enomther's, donate to the guy)
-Added linux swap support if a third partition is available
-If a third partition is not available, 24 MB compcache is enabled by default instead
-Fixed sensors (rotation)
-Added huge APNs list
Graphical Fixes
-Fixed Car Dock Images, now text is visible in either Landscape or Portrait mode
-Added Gmail Icon from eugene's build
-Power Control Widget graphical fix already applied
-Removed "Accounts" button from Contacts to avoid the force-close it causes when pressed since Google Apps sync is not available anyway.

Download:Android2.0_AOSP_Master_Final.zipebg10 said:I have gotten google sync working in this rom and all other 2.0 roms through exchange. It syncs mail, contacts, and calendar without the need for google apps. To get this working make a new exchange account and put in your gmail email address and password and then select manual setup. Select exchange account. For Domain/Username put in "/[email protected]" without quotes. The password should be filled in from the previous field. The Exchange server is "m.google.com" without quotes. Check both boxes below and hit next. Select the checking frequency(or push) and amount to synchronize. Select which options you want below, then select next. Put in an account name and display name, then hit done. If you have corporate calendar installed, then your calendar will synchronize and so will your contacts and email. Now you have push gmail, contacts, and calendar. Because exchange will only synchronize a month of emails, I also setup my gmail as an IMAP account so I still have access to my old emails. The android email app is not as good as the gmail app IMHO, but it is a temporary solution, and new emails seem to show up faster this way!
