Yeah were back up and everything's 100% here in New haven, but my family's house in east haven got tore up tho. My dad if freaking out like you wouldn't believe. I feel so bad for the family that link lived close to Cosey Beach they are just finally getting things back to being livable this week. That's ruff if you don't have alotta money saved up in this economy people don't just have 15k - 50k just laying around to restore there homes( not to mention for some this will be there second Devistation in 1 and a half years) Just sux makes you really start to appericiate the little things ya know

How did you apply v6 to Cm9, I thought people were saying it crapped out the rom somewhere in one of the Cm9 threads. Also where can I find those libs, and geeky. I've never even seen that being talked about here before. Wow either I've just been not paying attention or maybe you just got all gung ho on bus and figured something dope out.
Also you checked internal sd to get that score correct?
Or did you use external cause if you used external and are running a class 10 card you'll get 3500-3800 in anTutu benchmark I believe I have a screen shot let me check brb

Download DropBox app its free, then register with your email, now you have a free 3gb online file library. Once uploaded tap on file name, click share then at top you'll seen copy file URL. Post here on the thread, I click and I can either transfer it to my DropBox account or direct download to my device.

i updated from 9/25 build by jocala to one of the nightlys a couple weeks ago, and now my phone randomly dies, seems like the battery issue. i recharge it full and use it for around 30 mins and it dies again. random battery drain or something. I even flashed back to 9/25 and it still does it.
anyone have this issue? should i buy a new battery? the nightly sucks, i wish jocala came back. waiting on cm10 to be polished...

Happened to me. Your battery is shot.
I bought a 1500mah made by EC Technology for 8 bucks and it runs great, FWIW.

Yep, sounds like mine did a few weeks ago. The battery even had an odd bulge in it. Scored a new stock Samsung battery on eBay for $10 shipped, and the problem went away.
Mine did that to, wait till it dies within minutes of being off the charger

I was using 09/28 Jocala with newest stable over top and same thing was happening to me. Now I switched over to the most recent Pàcman this morning I've been using m phone kind of alot and I'm barely at 50%. If I was still on Cm9 id probably be under 20% with this amount of usage even sometimes just from using TapaTalk to post here at xda I would see almost 15-20% decrease in battery lol. Reminds me of how old school muscle cars with a 4 barrel card. People would say " eats gas so bad when put gas pedal to the floor you can actually see the gage start to slowly drop" lmao only difference is this phone could never be compared to a V8 454 with a 4Barrel Carb lol boared out with headers, cherry bombs wit just pipes straight back lol.
But yeah cm10, Pàcman builds are already looking so much better than Cm9 did at this point. Also you must realize that Jocala only developed for thus device and was a older retired man, still he was brilliant when it came to development of Android but he had not much else on his plate (makes me wanna on him and ask what device he currently owns and buy one lol) but Camcory has a family, kids I'm sure so can't just development the builds whenever he wants. Idk Core2Idiot or anything about them but even he said he doesn't use Cm9 or the galaxy exhibit he is just developing to better his skills and keep this phone alive.
Now as a dev myself there is a big difference between when I was helping out a fellow developer than when I was fixing things for my own device. I can remember in the Samsung Moment one time I was up almost 3 days on a 52 hour coding tear trying to port over Ginger bread since it never was officially released. Plus the device we were porting from had a different processor also so that brings a whole new world to the process of porting, we just lucked out that the device these builds were ported from were basically identical besides speeds and brands of the hardware besides that the galaxy W is identical probally why our device is a Sgh-T679 and the Galaxy W is a Sgh-T679M

Just coincidence, in all likelihood.
2 dollar difference... I'd do whatever you're comfortable with. I've had the EC battery for 7 week and it runs fine.

137This is a port of CyanogenMod 9 (Android 4.0.x) for the Samsung Exhibit II 4G. It is very much a work-in-progress. There are no guarantees whatsoever that it will work to your requirements or that it will progress beyond its current state. Major kudos to Arco68 for his help in getting this going; you would not have this ROM except for him.

CM9 for the Galaxy Exhibit is NOT vulnerable to USSD dialer exploits.
Vanishing text
The content of text buffers sometimes disappear when touched (messages in: gmail,yahoo,fb). Wiping cache has fixed this for some. Long-press of back key and restarting app for others.
Facebook
Facebook sync is not included in AOSP. 3rd-party apps are available in the market.
3g vs 4g
Cyanogen Mod views UMTS as 3g whereas the stock Exhibit II rom views it as 4g. Even though you see 3g on your status bar, your actual speed should be unchanged from stock.
Changing band preference
In dialer, enter Service Mode via
You should see:
[1] Automatic
[2] WCDMA Band Preference
[3] GSM Band Preference
To force WCDMA only, tap option 2, on next screen tap option 6 - WCDMA All
To force GSM only, tap option 3, on next screen tap option 7 - GSM All
You can use the back button to verify your settings took effect. To exit, tap menu button, quit. This change does not survive a reboot. If you use this frequently, save it as a contact.
WIFI Problems
Wifi is working fine for almost everyone using CyanogenMod 9 Galaxy Exhibit build (and also for the Galaxy W). If you are one of the very few having difficulties, a possible fix has been posted that may help: WiFix Manager.
Installation
Installation requires a CWM-based recovery. Download/update Galaxy Exhibit Custom CWM Recovery here.
Updating CyanogenMod 9
Once you have a stable install you're happy with you can apply future updates w/o any wiping. If for some reason a wipe is required, I'll make that known.

If installing over a non-CM9 ROM you must do a ROMwipe before installing.
Select "Install zip from sdcard." Choose the cm9 beta zip from sdcard or external sdcard, depending on where you placed it. Highlight the cm9 beta zip file then press Home. Confirm the choice and installation will proceed. You may also install Google Apps (gapps) at this time. Gapps does not include all Google apps. Those not included are available from the market.

These instructions assume that you will be using an Ubuntu 10.10 Linux system (or a close relation, Debian, Linux Mint,etc). Setting up a Linux partition or creating a Linux VM are beyond the scope of this post.
First, Install the Android SDK
Next, install the linux build packages required. I install using apt-get:
For 32-bit & 64-bit systems

You'll need to gain at least a rudimentary knowledge of
using git and github. Teaching this is beyond the scope
of this howto. Cherry-picks must be re-applied after each
repo sync.As time goes by they also get merged, so it may be that some
cherry-picks are no longer required. You can check their status here.
Attached to this post is a script (reposync.txt) that will do a repo
sync then apply current cherry-picks. I keep it in my
android/system directory. Rename and chmod 0755.
Set up your environment & build

CCACHE
If you have room on your build system you can speed
your builds up considerably by using ccache. ccache is a compiler
cache. It speeds up re-compilation of C/C++ code by caching
previous compiles and detecting when the same compile is
being done again.
Install it with apt-get: sudo apt-get ccache
Set environment vars for Android use:

I think the idea of nightlies is great, I never had the resources. I've replaced the OPs download link with a link to Core2Idiot's nightly page.
On another note, I've decided to keep my Exhibit as a dev device, so I'm going to continue busting my head with 911 for a while at least. I'll post if I have any breakthroughs.
