Hey there! I'm really interested in this ROM. You say FOD is a bug; is it like the bug with that one LineageOS ROM on here where the screen would just flicker if you use it or does it point blank not work?

Hey, I'm new to rooting, I've lost my stock ROM and now using swx v4, tried downloading other ROMS like lineageOS but I've always been put in a boot loop until restore a backup of swx ROM, do I need stock ROM to install this ROM? If I do, can anyone help me find a stock ROM for my A705FN/DS?

You need a OneUI 3.1 (Android 11) vendor to install the ROM properly. Here, put this file (check attached files) in your phone, wipe cache, dalvik and the vendor, and flash it to the vendor partition, then flash the rom. Try that.

hey, sorry im new to all this, do I need special software like odin or adb for that or can I just instal it using twrp?

Edit: I tried flashing it normally and it flashed normally, but the room always flashes stuff unconditionally, is that normal? I try booting up and it just boot loops twice and goes back into twrp.

Download frija, use it to download your stock 11 rom, flash that with odin. Then hop over to my guide, follow the instructions for rooting android 11, then once all that is complete, install dotos per the first page instructions.

Edit: the build has been cancelled, FOD is no longer working it's another reason to avoid KangOS roms.

    1) Search for the vmbeta.tar file for A70. It can be found in custom recovery threads( I forgot where).
    edit: its here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-unofficial-root-twrp-for-galaxy-a70.3955984/
    2) download official twrp by haky86
    3) download dm verity disabler ( It is found in crdroid rom)
    4) copy the rom file and dm verity disabler onto an sd card and insert in phone.
    5) put phone in download mode, put vmbeta.tar in AP, unchek auto reboot, flash with odin.
    6) boot to stock recovery by holding down power and volume down, and when the screen goes black press power and volume up and reboot to bootloader again. Now flash twrp with odin.
7)reboot to recovery with the same key combo, and now you are in twrp.

You do not need fastboot to install custom rom on Samsung. If you are using mac, you can download Jodin3. If you are using linux, you can setup fastboot with this guide. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ot-on-linux-device-detection-drivers.3478678/ Its from 2016, but the steps still remain the same. I have tested it
