:silly: my phone trasported itself back to 1969 last night. pulldown read december 31st, 1969, and most things didnt work. a reboot fixed it. pretty wicked.

Mine did the same thing a couple days ago but it was a quick simple fix. I just set the correct date and took off airplane mode. Also reset it later just because.
Just wanted to say this rom made me fall in love with my phone all over again so thank you, thank you, thank you.

P.s. HDMI. ...it let's you see the video on your TV but you can't hear it through the TV. Are there any available updates for this?

Is there a way to fix the camera so it works? The first page of this thread says that the camera DOES work, but I haven't had it work once since installing this rom a couple of days ago. I tried searching the thread for answers, but haven't found it yet. I have even tried other camera apps.

Error is something like "can not connect to camera".

Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Also, everytime that the phone reboots, I get the activate screen. Anyway to make it stop?

Maybe I should go to CM 10...What you think?

Definitely try a reflash. I would wipe data/cache just to be safe as well.

This rom is fantastic. A daily driver even. I had to find slightly older gapps than what's newest. More in the date range of the rom update. There was also nothing about what bsr to use. I found out that you can use the custom cm7 bsr I'd you can still find it. I happened to have w copy still. Thanks for all the hard work. This rom really is fantastic. Breaths new life into this old bastard.

i DO NOT suggest using V6 supercharger and the companion services jar patch. my phone has started rebooting when ever i put any kind of load on the memory. browsing too much tumbler, loading too many web sites, trying to multitask over just a few apps...etc.

No its best not to. I found v6 to be a placebo effect.

I use vignette, which works just fine. I have since moved on to cm10 nd still use Vignette. Try that and see if it works for you, if not then reflash. I know flashing is time consuming, having to reinstall etc.

As the bootloader is locked, X2s are running the stock 2.3 kernel with no modifications regardless of ROM.

Ah. That explains the lousy performance across the board, then. No kernel, no improvements, dead device. Darn motorola.

Do any of these custom roms allow you to use higher resolution contacts? Or does the locked bootloader force you to still use low resolution contacts like the stock rom does?

I use Tracfone, so I can't buy the good phones, and they are extremely picky about what phones are allowed on their new BYOP. No new phones are allowed, only phones that were previously used on Verizon, and it can't support LTE. Although Verizon is the one to blame for that , not Tracfone. I would love to use a Moto G.

When I click on the link, my computer says there is a Trojan (multiple times). Are there still ROMs available somewhere for the Droid X2?
