Ok so sad. No chance with DC unlocking tool ? A new phone is already existing. Xiaomi baby...
There's a always a chance. Just that way it 'fell of its perch' - with no poking and prodding from you, suggests physical failure, and others have also had similar experiences on these forums and tried these measures only to fail also.

If you had been running OEM scripts, trying to change startup logo, or restoring oeminfo.epb from another phone, flashing anything and interrupted it or power failed mid flight, etc etc, I'd say there is a good chance emmc is simply corrupt and can be restored. If you did nothing like this my guess is it's likely your phone has physical memory damage as simple data corruption on the non-OS partitions seldom (probably never) happens with normal use.

That's why I asked if you ever noticed phone overheating. - a dead give-away re what happened (excuse the pun).

Anyway I'm not 100% sure, just going by experience (I've had charging, USB data connection and notification led failure on several Y550 phones (snapdragon 410 SOC also) due to overheating, and others had memory failure with symptoms like yours.

I haven't played with QFIL myself. If it has a memory test function (like HiSuite), I'd run diagnostics. QDLoader or other software may have test functions too.

You could try 3rd party solutions (did you mean DC Phoenix?), if you want to exhaust all options. But you may be throwing good money after bad... grasping at straws... flogging a dead horse... resuscitating a dead parrot even (- just can't help myself  ).

All best with Xiaomi baby. :) PW

Works great! Just want to know if there's a treason why there's no updates to this? Or is it just that the developer is busy?
Its not treason :) .

But this is only an (experimental) unofficial beta version.

OP is supporting many ROMs, OnePlus 3, Honor 4x, Xiaomi Mi Note 3... and if you want Pie, he has [Official][Nightly] MoKee 9.0 for Huawei G620s, Honor 4/4x ROM for your device which is apparently working well:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4x/development/rom-mokee-9-0-huawei-g620s-honor-4-4x-t3930263

Check OP's profile, and hit 'Find all posts by dianlujitao' to see all the ROMs / Devices /Recoveries he supports. Regards, PW

& Thanks @dianlujitao!!

Oh, I know it's not treason and he's working on other builds, but I was just wondering, because previous versions used to have more frequent updates, that's it

Sure. But if you look closely...

@dianlujitao started 17 threads for officially supported ROMs since Lollipop 5.1.x. Seems he avoids making unofficial ROMs wherever possible.

I understand once a device's kernel is updated to support an official version, the OS updates are applied, then the ROM is compiled, hosted, and OTA updates are pushed out automatically by the OS's own servers (eg LOS) - no need for dev intervention, except to merge new kernel commits and tweaks.

Unofficial ROMs require dev to compile, test and host, a whole other ballgame.

@dianlujitao's actually started only 3 threads for Unofficial builds since 5.1.x, and this is the only recent Beta build for che1 devices. Previous Betas were 5.1.1 and 4.1.x versions, and these got only 1 and 2 updates respectively, so really, previous beta versions hardly had 'frequent updates'.

Reading between the lines, I'm guessing that while this has been published for testing purposes, the devs efforts will be focussed on overcoming whatever obstacles prevented migrating directly from Official LOS 15.1 (8.1) to Official 16.0 (9.0) as in the past, not on compiling and hosting Beta version updates.

Meanwhile, we have Official Nightly MoKee (9.0) working well.

Hope it's a treasonable explanation :) . PW

Not gonna lie, I just now realised that I wrote "treason" instead of reason in my first post

Wow - how many threads are you asking this in? Answered at: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ho...eos-14-1-huawei-g620s-honor-4-t3547682/page63 Cited also in Ascend Y550 thread. PW
Already get the answer for my problem. Sorry for it.

Edit1: Everything work. Method with DC-Unlocker working just fine. Unfortunatelly it's not for free (4 euro) and get my bootloader code. Then I was enter this code into adb via ADB-TOOLKIT from xda forum and for now status is Unlocked. Thank everyone for help ;)

Glad it worked! Thanks for confirming DC codes still work at least on our legacy devices. PW

Hi everybody,

I still enjoy my good old G620S with Lineage 15.1 thanks to the awesome work of the devs, big kudos to them!

Now, since Feb 28th, Lineage 15.1 has reached EOL and the last ROM for our devices shipped on Feb 25th.

What is the best move from now on? Stick to a stable 15.1 unmaintained. Or go with 16.0? How is the situation for those of you with 16.0?

Best regards,
benedict

I agree 100% with the above. Thank you very much for the great support. I never thought I could keep this phone that long.
Maybe @dianlujitao can tell us if he has plans to continue LineageOS support for this smartphone, or what would be the best option now.
In any case, I reiterate my thanks for these years of support.

HI all, i tried to install, but phone stucks on the 'looking for update' section, just after the language and wifi choice. I've installed many times, mokke doesn't have this problema, but, it sucks battery... with no usage, battery drains a lot. So, i installed 3 times lineage, with stock gapps, and mini gapps, but it's the same... what can i do? If i skip this part, after it shows me a notify in which it invite me to complete the configuration, and i cannot have google play (?)...

Phone was unusable for me with this ROM (constantly becoming unresponsive) some time back so I reverted back to 15.1 which was working decently but now without updates it is becoming slow again.
