First u need to unlock bootloader then flash custom recovery like twrp recovery..then format internal storage nd data from recovery to avoid encryption then flash any magisk for root..and for unlocking bootloader and flashing custom recovery u need pc for that

Hopefully LOS 16 for land will become official soon (probably the beta builds stopped for this very reason).

No. I played many songs. All cant be corrupted. All songs playing nicely on official lineage OS 15.1 build 24feb 2019. Both time clean flashed rom

If you are facing audio problem then flash Dolby digital plus and viper4androidfx and audio modification library then the problem is solved.... For me it worked

The install instructions say that we have to wipe everything. But I read on lineage OS 16 news post that if you are on LOS 15 you can directly update to 16, is it possible then?

I also have encrypted storage, will it work?

:good: all problem solved. Great battery backup campared to offcial LOS 15.1. But there is no adaptive battery option or it is named as battery manager ? No Style tiles
