What should be working:

• Calls/Signal
• External/Internal SD -Spoke too soon, fixing!
• Camera B&W preview
• Android market over WiFi
• Flash Player
• External Speakers
• Earphones/Headphones
• WiFi
• SMS

What should NOT be working:

• Data/Internet
• GPS (But does that really work anyways? xD)
• Auto rotation (Maybe..)
• Ending a call..
• Possibly other things

recovery and download mode work fine. this is using an i9000 kernel

quick feedback before to go sleep
internal & external sd not mounted.
once booted it tells me that I can safely remove sdcard

EDIT:
internal mounted. but system (file manager/gallery etc) doesn't see it. can access to it from adb
and,
# busybox mount -a
mount: mounting (null) on /sd-ext failed: No such file or directory
