I installed the 32-bit 0.45 beta release on a mid-2009 MacBook (Core Duo with Nvidi GeForce 9400M) which I dual boot rEFInd. Overall it runs and looks really good. However, I have two issues I can’t seem to figure out: 1) every time I boot or my system sleeps, I lose WiFi and have to manually reconnect to my only saved network, and 2) the GPU tool settings don’t seem to work for Lords Mobile, resulting in a black screen on startup. Any suggestions?
I did some digging through the settings, and found that if i turn off the ARM support under PrimeSettings then the game loads and gives "unsupported device" error, but when I re-enable ARM support it always goes to a black screen without anything loading. Upon reviewing /lib/arm/cpuinfo it appears that it's showing ARMv8 (aarch64) in the processor information. Is this file to trick the app into thinking it's running on an ARM processor? If so, shouldn't the classic install have ARMv7 (aarch32) instead?

https://supreme-gamers.com/r/primeos-rebellion-best-themed-primeos-mod.74/ Try a MODED Prime OS which uses different Kernels or gives option to change Kernel at anytime. The Kernel change will fix your issues as I had similar issue with an older Intel Laptop and I fixed it using a MODED install. The MOD also made it faster and run games it couldn't before. There is MANY MODS for PRIME OS just google/duckduckgo Prime OS Mods.

Hello everyone.
Today I installed Prime Os on my PC (Prime OS Mainline 0.4.5) and everything went smoothly except for the WiFi. I cannot turn on the wifi. I also put Prime Os on again, but hopelessly. I also don't see any available networks. Did I do something wrong? What could be the problem ? Does anyone have a solution?

I look forward to answers (I'm sorry for my bad English, I'm from Germany)

Thanks for the suggestion but I do not trust unofficial OS copies.

After further research I found that I could connect automatically to my saved WiFi while booting in debug mode but not normal mode.

The fix to make my system connect automatically either way was to add this line to /system/etc/modules.blacklist (system must be read-write):

I am glad you are back. I have used this os on many of my latops, most of the time it had ui crash problems after using it about 30min-1 hours. there isn't any good alternative to this project so I hope you will continue your great work.

Can you please elaborate furthermore so we could recreate the issue to find out the exact cause? Also, it would be helpful if you provide any screenshot or video of the same.

I am not using the os right now so I can not provide screenshots but when I used to play games more than 30 minutes or 1 hour the keymaps would not respond for a few second and ui would crash/restart itself and start from lockscreen (games or apps would still remain so it was only ui crash) I would set lockcreen security as none to kind of solve the problem but it would still not respond for a few seconds and restart itself after than I had to press F10 to re-enable keymaps. the problem happend in version 0.4.5. I have not tried version 0.5 yet so I do not know if the problem still remains.

Note: Use PrimeOS installer exe program for installing in windows systems. The download link is below. For non-windows systems, you can download our iso image and follow the steps below to install PrimeOS.

USB stick / Flash Drive guide:
  1. For this method, you need the Etcher / Rufus, PrimeOS iso file. We recommend you use a decent-speed USB drive (8GB or larger).
  2. For flashing PrimeOS to the USB drive, plug in your USB drive and launch Etcher / Rufus. Now select the PrimeOS iso file, create the bootable USB.
  3. Note: Be careful with the steps below and backup your data if you're not sure about what you are doing.
  4. For installing PrimeOS on your HDD/SSD/SDcard, first, create a new partition for PrimeOS ( suggested minimum size is 16GB ).
  5. Turn off the secure boot of your device and then boot up the PrimeOS USB by pressing Esc or F12, depending on your bios menu key, and selecting the PrimeOS USB to boot from.
  6. Select the ‘Install PrimeOS option from the GRUB menu.
  7. The installer will load, and you will have an option to choose which partition you created earlier. Choose it, and select Ext4 for formatting the drive.
  8. When it asks if you want to install Grub, select YES.
  9. When finished, the installer will then ask if you want to run PrimeOS, you can just reboot here, and make sure you remove the USB drive.

Do you already have PrimeOS and want to update manually? Read post #2851

Greetings..
Briefly and clearly and without formalities, no doubt Prime OS is one of the best operating systems and has a big name not so far from "Windows" or any other well-known OS.
Recently I've downloaded the new release of Prime OS which is 0.5.0 Classic and successfully I've installed it with Win 10, (though I've faced some difficulties especially during boot but that's not the problem)..
the system is running very well, booting fast, and in a high performance, the issue here is when trying to resize the window of any running app the system freezes (hangs permanently) and there's nothing I can do but only restarting the system...the same issue when playing games (like free fire, MLBB..) where the system freezes for few seconds (a while) then runs again and that's really annoying.
I'm not sure if the issue due to the low hardware of my machine or due the operating system itself ..(same issue on Android x86 OS dragging or resizing window causes system freeze)
here's my pc's specs :

Mainboard Model : INTEL G41 Series
CPU : Intel core 2 Duo E8500
RAM : 4GB DDR3
GPU : Nvidia Geforce GT 730 2GB DDR3

Peace :) .

(sorry for the poor language XD)

try using onboard GPU not the nvidia gpu
..Actually switching to the integrated onboard GPU really helped to fix the issue of system freezes (hangs) when dragging or resizing window..👌..but unfortunately the solution has its negatives ~(>_<。)\..
As you know integrated GPU (usually Intel) features low performance and low energy consumption, and is intended to be used only for basic tasks such as web surfing, or working with office programs but not enough for other tasks such as watching HD videos, playing 3D video games, etc..in other words the integrated GPU is not enough to run most of the apps in Prime OS (video editing apps) or games which require a high performance of the GPU ( free fire, MLBB.. * low FPS* *crash* without GPU )..
Thanks for the suggestion it did help fixing the issue but that was not enough, anyways I hope the DEVs will continue improving this amazing OS for a better use ✌😁Peace.

But here is the thing, Intel is the best dev when it comes to Android development for the x86 architecture. A lot of work from Android-x86 are based on some of Intel's old work Android-IA, not to mention libhoudini, the ARM native bridge that you are using is actually from Intel. So when it comes to GPU on Android-x86, Intel is the one having the best compatbility for it. AMD is fine since they're open in kernel and Mesa3d development, but Nvidia ? Keep dreaming. You are actually using nouveau - an open-source GPU driver that is "low performance and low energy consumption" , not to mention from Kernel 4.15+ nouveau got freeze with Android-x86 and can't even boot on higher Android due to lack of multi-threading support - which is a requirement of Android.

So...... even if Intel iGPU provide you with low-performance, at least the compatiblity is great compare to the Nvidia GPU that you are having. PrimeOS devs can't help with this tho.
(but if you are having app crash on Intel iGPU then might be something relate to the system, so feedback it to them)

Important announcement (Updated on Feb 16 2019)

Hello everyone, we will soon release PrimeOS 0.4.3, as you all know, we normally release both 32 bit and 64 bit variants, but starting from PrimeOS 0.4.3, this has changed, we will now have three variants depending on hardware, please read below very carefully and decide which one suits you best.

Note - We are not releasing OTA for 0.4.3 since we want every user to install the correct variant for their hardware.

    1. PrimeOS Mainline 64 bit (for newest systems 2014+) -
Use this variant only if you have a cpu which was manufactured in or after year 2014, For example -> [ Intel Core i series 5th gen or above OR Intel celeron N4000 OR AMD A8 7410 etc. ] Also make sure that your CPU has SSE 4.2 instruction support, just enter your cpu model on google and you can find all this info easily. This variant of PrimeOS will work well for both Intel and AMD GPUs, however, if you use a desktop and have a Nvidia GPU, you should not use this variant as it will cause lockups and will lead to freezes, but if you have a laptop, your Intel gpu will work well instead of Nvidia. In case you get any graphic glitches on this variant, you should switch to PrimeOS Standard.
This variant of PrimeOS will be using 4.19 kernel and 18.1.0 mesa, once you install this variant of PrimeOS, you will always get OTA of this variant only, in case you want to switch to the other variant (for older systems), you must re-install PrimeOS.
    2. PrimeOS Standard 64 bit (for newer systems 2011+) -
Use this variant only if you have a cpu which was manufactured in or after year 2011, For example -> [ Intel Core i series 2nd gen or above OR Intel celeron N3350 OR AMD A8 5550M etc. ] Also make sure that your CPU has SSE 4.2 instruction support, just enter your cpu model on google and you can find all this info easily. This variant of PrimeOS will work well for Older Intel, AMD, Nvidia GPUs.
This variant of PrimeOS will be using 4.14 kernel and 17.1.10 mesa, once you install this variant of PrimeOS, you will always get OTA of this variant only, in case you want to switch to the other variant (for older systems), you must re-install PrimeOS.
    3. PrimeOS Classic 32 bit (for older systems) -
Use this variant if you have a cpu which was manufactured before year 2011, For example ->[ Intel Core i series 1st gen or below OR Intel Pentium dual core OR Intel Pentium G620 OR AMD Phenom II X6 1100T etc. ] Just enter your cpu model on google and you can find this info easily. This variant of PrimeOS will work well for all Old Intel, Old AMD and Old Nvidia GPUs. This version will also work on 32-bit systems, In case you cannot boot this variant of PrimeOS, you should try using PrimeOS standard or mainline.
This variant of PrimeOS will be using 4.14 kernel and 17.1.10 mesa, once you install this variant of PrimeOS, you will always get OTA of this variant only, in case you want to switch to the other variant (for older systems), you must re-install PrimeOS.

    Hey guys,

Thank you all for giving us the support and love. Upon a lot of requests we are thinking about releasing an official 32 bit image.
Also there will be a new experimental build which will be coming with latest cutting edge linux mainline kernels i.e. it will be having the latest up to date device drivers.
The experimental build will not be inline with the current stable-BETA releases but will follow a different release pattern.

It will be coming with the following differences:

    • Latest PrimeOS system patches
    • Latest mainline kernel
    • Any new experimental PrimeOS system features

This will also help us making the OS stable in a faster and efficient manner.
    Stay tuned
