I don't know if it's only my problem, but after upgrading to 4.6, adb over USB and adb over WiFi stopped working. And starting DEX caused device reboot. Did smth similar happened to anyone else?

FYI: i did dirty upgrade - using HOME CSC (of course I upgraded to official FVG5 first)

would be good if you can provide some logcat of the error

Hi i have been digging up for a key combo in going to twrp but failed to find a correct instructions..I've tried key combo vol up+ power but no go..i am on android 12 can someone guide me on this..i know its the wrong area to ask. But i am also using beyond rom. Thanks in advance

If I remeber correctly, you need to be connected via USB first - with the key combo, otherwise use some shell emulator

or via PC& adb

adb reboot recovery

or there are many lsposed "plugins" to enable recovery reboot directly from powermenu (FIREFDS...) or flash brc(beyondRomcontrol - link on telegram)

Thanks for the reply..yes i do have an app that reboot straight to twrp. Im just curious why i can't do it using key combo. I also tried the usb plugged in vol up+pow with no go. Which one is better Lposed or Edxposed? Im confused on both of these.

I don't know, i hadn't any probs with key combo so far. But with ???Posed - EdXposed is little bit out of date, AFAIK it wasn't updated from march '21 approx., Lsposed has the same functionality and maybe more (it supports zygisk) and was updated few days ago (1.8.3-6597)

This tool will allow you to check which CSC's are included in the OWO multi.
You can then look up each of those, and see if any of them have the firmware you want already.
The same tool can switch between the available CSCs, without root, or reinstall. Just a reboot.

That said, ZTO carrier configs existed in the XSA(OXM) stock firmware that I installed BR on. You could hypothetically use any G985F firmware. You won't get OTA updates. But you won't with BR anyway. Worst case might be your phone is in the wrong language...

But only do what you are comfortable with. It might not be worth the effort just to get a security patch a little sooner. Everything since FVDB still uses FVDB baseband. They are only security patches.

Thank you and sorry for the late acknowledgement. Before waiting for this I did on myself and installed a CHILE Stock Rom, which worked almost perfectly I guess. I am only having trouble with the SIM configuration SMS with the carrier. But I dont think it has to do with the rom.

did you installed original fw prior to BR? Did you boot orig.FW? If yes there is your prob. You have to install br right after orig. (thats the reason to turn off autoreboot in odin etc.)
