Hi everyone!
I installed BeyondROM V6.0 yesterday, it works, I didn't check all the options yet though.
I'm really struggling with installing Viper4Android, I tried so many options, files etc and it gets always to the drivers installing loop. Every time I open it, it ask for drivers. Also YouTube Vanced doesn't work, tried ReVanced in vain too.
Do you have guys any solution for that, especially for Viper4A?

1. On Magisk Manager, install the module Audio Modification Library. Reboot.
2. On Magisk Manager, install Viper4Android. Reboot.
3. On Viper4Android, a prompt to install drivers will appear. Proceed and install. Device will automatically reboot.
4. On Viper4Android, go to settings and turn on Legacy mode. Driver status now should be Normal and audio format supported.

I did all the steps,
I tried Audio Modification Library v4.0 and v4.2
I tried: - ViPER4AndroidFX-repackagedhoch61-697516a
- ViPER4AndroidFX-repackagedhoch43-50ab6b9
- ViPER4AndroidRepackaged-main

What I have noticed that any of the installation modules make that post-fs-data.sh file in the Viper4Android directory in my phone -tree: root- data- adb -modules- Viper4androidFx - and no post...sh file.
Also lack of this file in other folders like etc or vendor, other files e.g. audio_effects.xml is in etc folder.
I tried to edit and paste the post...sh file in there but not sure now I edited it right as it's not working.
I'm using Magisk canary as the main one did not work.
Any idea pls?

EDIT: I fixed Magisk installation - my fault, I forgot how to do it right -it works now regular app v25.2
Also - after fixing Magisk (by making .zip file properly from apk file) I installed ViPER4AndroidFX-repackagedhoch61-697516a - and BOOM - it works like a charm !!!

So, conclusion - Canary can't install V4AFX properly

I had some WhatsApp mic issues on Beyond Rom 4.8 recently, people heard me very little - this has been fixed by the upgrade.
For me Viper - on Android 12 and BR4.8 was sounding beautifully, especially very well reacting to settings on cable earphones/headphones. I got a few DAC's (cx31993, ALC5686, Cs46L41) and my best earphones TRN BAX BA+1DD+2EST Hybrid Metal In Ear Earphones and I did not try any on the new system yet.
Sound quality - I think - before Viper4AFX worked kind of better(from the short testing I did on room speakers) , it was reacting to the settings much much more profoundly, also on the mini HiFi Panasonic room speakers system , you could hear the difference straight away, but now - It reacts - for me - like 50% only maybe, I had to put Volume Gain on, which I was barely using on BR 4.8 on Android 12. I need to do more testing as did not have time yet.
The difference I could tell straight away. But now it's more stable, I think, I used to have problems when someone called me via WhatsApp or cell call when I was listening to music on Samsung Music or Spotify - Viper would stop processing very often - I had to fidget with it for a moment to make it work again. Now, it seems- in those few hours I'm using it, it doesn't drop processing when disturbed - I installed distro -ViPER4AndroidFX-repackagedhoch61-697516a, and did not try different ones yet. -- Let me know pls if there is any other better sounding on S20.
Also- by the way - I installed YT ReVanced as root quite easily after few attempts - just had to chose little (adverts only, background playing etc) changes, otherwise installer did not want to install it as root.

Does this tom have encryption support? If yes, how do I activate it, so my data isn't accessible via TWRP.

Recently I noticed the Magisk app in my app drawer. I came here to see how to enable root and realised it's too late as I was supposed to do it after the first boot. Is there anyway to enable it now?

Show a screenshot of your magisk app. You should see the root there.

As far as I understand, you can't use TWRP for backup stuff etc but updating the rom should still be possible right? If you don't know, I would like to test it.

you need to deinstall your magisk first. flash magisk zip via twrp. after that install the apk. i had the same problem. dont worry your moduls dont get deinstalled. I used Magisk 25.2 original - zip and apk.
