I fixed it, it was Magisk Canary casing the problem, I properly installed Magisk again and used regular Magisk app and all went fine afterwards.

you need to deinstall your magisk first. flash magisk zip via twrp. after that install the apk. i had the same problem. dont worry your moduls dont get deinstalled. I used Magisk 25.2 original - zip and apk.

dont use any other twrp or magisk thats not official. Canary and others seems to be chinese spy tools. Use the original latest magisk!

I don't know if anyone can help. After I installed the ROM I didn't enable root as directed in the instructions because I was tired from struggling to install it (noob). Recently I noticed the Magisk app in my app drawer. I came here to see how to enable root and realised it's too late as I was supposed to do it after the first boot. Is there anyway to enable it now?

GVK1 is Android 13. So a dirty flash from GVK1 should be possible.

You will need BeyondROM 4.8 FVIB (last BeyondROM based on Android 12). I found on 4pda.to providing BeyondROM 4.8 link, but file on gdrive link is deleted:

GVK1 is Android 13. So a dirty flash from GVK1 should be possible.

As mentioned for me it even worked from 12 to 13.

This happens to me too when I factory reset phone. Just connect your phone to internet, wait and look again into the developer options. OEM toggle should be visible now.
