CyanogenMod 11 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4.x (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

For some start with a new project for the Xperia P beacose now i have this device so why not building for this device?

Proces to install rom​

First time flashing CyanogenMod 11.0 your device, or coming from another ROM? You need to be on Unlocked bootloader

1. Fastboot kernel from the rom zip
2. Press power button when Device vibrates to enter CWM recovery
3. Format system,data and cache
4. Flash the Zip
5. Reboot

I tried to use Logcat Extreme but it hasnt worked like other LogcatApps. The developer said I should enable logging in kernel. So how to enable this?

You can try this:

1. Kernel log
Make sure your init.rc contains the following service definition
CODE: SELECT ALL
service klog /system/bin/dd if=/proc/kmsg of=/kernel.log bs=1
oneshot

I have this definition in line 272 of the file, shortly after the definition of "service adbd".

2. Android log
Add the following lines just at the same location in init.rc (just after "service klog").
CODE: SELECT ALL
service logcat /system/bin/logcat -r 10000 -f /log.txt
oneshot
user root

Or go to system>etc>Unlimitedboost and find this line:

# Disable logger #
# ========================== #

rm /dev/log/main

And delete this. done.
