As the title says - all the 4.3 MJB goodies you need. More to come. :)

As always, flash at your own risk!

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT try to downgrade your bootloader after flashing the MJB bootloader.
There is a 100% chance you will brick your device.

Can I install this on top of last Leak 4.3 update? I have already upgraded 4.3 bootloader and modem with leak ?
Should be fine, but I have only tested with the OTA.

I assume these will install the new MJB bootloader and modem. Correct?
No. This is just the ROM.

Please edit your post to remove the OP info. And PLEASE don't quote the OP. :)

And as soon as I post these system image based ROMs, I figure out the problem with the "normal" directory based ROMs we all know and love.

Seems Samsung added some scripts to prevent us from having fun (I told you it was a permission thing loser ;)).

I don't know what these scripts do specifically because they are encrypted, but we all know what they are intended to do.

These are the scripts found in /system/etc:
boot_fixup
selinux_restore

Attached is a pic of my deodexed file system. :)

I will test this for a little while, then upload. :good:

Can't wait to be off work and give this a shot on mj2 boot loader and modem. Thank you for the hard work and glad to see you guys figuring this out.

If WiFi isn't working on mj2 boot loader and modem for people just a thought but maybe the mj2 kernel with the ROM could work a little magic.

Update

Good News: Removing these files allows the deodexed ROM to boot.
boot_fixup
selinux_restore

Bad News: No wifi, data, or IMEI.

Good News: Flashing one of the ROMs in the OP restores wifi, data, and IMEI.

Bad News: selinux_restore seems to be the bad actor in terms of not letting the ROM boot and preventing all data usage.

Bad News: selinux_restore is encrypted, which prevents us from knowing what it does.

Good News: Lots of good devs and power users for this device. We'll get things fixed proper. ;)

I'll upload the deodexed debloat version as well as the two files mentioned above to give everyone a chance to play.

Thanks for your hard work..

So if we flash the latest rom you have posted, Can we go back to stock 4.1.1 through odin. I will hold on flashing 4.3 until the downgrade is allowed..

It's just a ROM (no bootloader, radio, etc). It won't prevent you from doing anything.
Thanks for your response.. So we can flash either odex or deoxed version without any fear.. Any prerequisite for flashing the rom? Like the bootloader or firmware version??

Both odexed versions work perfectly. If you read the first post that you quoted you will see that the deodexed version is till a WIP. It works fine, except for the no wifi and data thing. :p

I can't speak authoritatively about bootloader requirements because I have the official bootloader from the OTA. But most likely you will need a 4.3 bootloader and radio for everything to work as with the 4.3 leak. The biggest risk is that something won't work properly (aside from the normal risks associated with flashing any ROM). If that's the case you just restore a backup or reflash whatever ROM you were on before.

Flashed the Rom and insecure kernel with the MJ2 bootlocker and Modem and all worked but wifi.
Same here all fine but wifi.
Could one try modem with out the boot loaderloader?
I'm willing to try just modem if there one fixed up for mjb.
Using mj2 modem & boot loader with odex version now.

I was going to start a new thread, but I'll just add it to this thread. Here's a fully functional "directory-based" build. Not using any of the leaked files.

Features:
Odexed
Rooted
Knox removed
SELinux set to Permissive (Pretty sure this is what was causing the problems)
init.d support (although nothing is there yet)
AT&T bloat removed

Now we can move on and start working on custom roms!

EDIT: Accidentally submitted this post prematurely, still uploading.
Thanks for the update loser, so for flashing the above we require to be on the updated bootloader/Firmware? I don't want to loose the ability to flash older 4.1.2 but as the same time want to use 4.3. LOL

So can we be on the older bootloader/firmware 4.1.2? I am happy to flash anything until the downgrade is possible

You can flash it on the 4.1.2 bootloader but things like wifi probably won't work until you upgrade. I haven't tested this, but you should be able to flash 4.1.2 roms on the 4.3 bootloader, but once again, it might break things like wifi. I don't think any of the 4.1.2 roms include bootloaders so you should be fine.

I think there's some confusion about the term "downgrading". It's strictly bootloaders that you can't downgrade. So if you want to go back to stock, DON"T flash the 4.1.1 stock tar, but if you want to use 4.1.2 roms, you can. You can mess with the system and boot partitions without causing issues. Not sure why people want to go back to 4.1.2 though, as 4.3 is solid as is, let alone all of the modding that's about to happen.
