You could buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Global Edition if you are thinking of buying a similar phone. There are lots of custom ROMs available because of the built in Snapdragon 625. It's under 200$, looks great, is fast enough (for me) and it also has impressive battery life. I owned the P9000 too. In general I was satisfied with this device but I gave it away because MTK-devices just aren't suitable enough for custom ROMs and there are far too few developers for those devices. So in my opinion only users that don't want lots of custom ROMs and mods should buy MTK-devices.

It is still available on Geekbuying (Global 4Gb/64GB) from where I bought it. But the Leeco is also a very good choice. I thought of buying this device too but I wanted to have a micro sd slot because I sometimes missed it on my oneplus 2. Also I don't want to have a golden or pink phone. Silver and grey are always and everywhere sold out.

ROM not dead. I'm again use my P9000 for daily use. Next update will be very soon. 1st important change is fixed Android pay

Netflix does not work anymore, error 1018 every time... And after that error shows, the tumblr app cant load any videos... How to fix? ive ttied clearing data, force closing the app, reinstalling it, and even reinstallijg the software, i however did not factory reset because i dont want to lose my apps, so what should i do?
EDIT: Videos do play, but only if they were downloaded first, just loading an online video gives the error

I'm guessing it has to do with the phone not passing safety net. There is a universal safety net fix magisk module available that maybe fixes this problem. I'm using this fix myself on nougat, but this should be the same on android marshmallow. Netflix and Snapchat work like they should. I also can install them from the playstore because this module let's this phone pass safety net.

ive tried that already, magisk seems to crash for me, i dont know why, it just does, so ill be trying again, but with aokp, ill just dirtyflash
Edit: Dirty flashed, netflix still doednt work, im gonna try magisk now.
Edit 2: still crashes.. i guess ill be doing a factory reset...
Edit 3: Made factory reset, still doesnt work.. I officially give up
Edit 4: Netflix just started working again... Magisk still force closes

im moving on too, i only have this device for 6 months, and i think this device is quite bad... horrible speakers, bad camera, lack of software optimization, phone heats up a lot without doing anything.. I'm now considering buying the Oneplus 5 and sell this one, its less cheap but still worth it, good optimizations, good cameras, design(on the front at least, the back looks like iphone, but im getting a dbrand skin for it, so not a big deal), so its either Oneplus5 or the Xiaomi MI6

Edit: And Has much better customer support, and xda development, and also all source codes released

Have you already bought the OnePlus 5? If not, have a look for the HONOR 9. It's my new one since a week and it's brilliant!!! :good:

i decided to stay with this phone till november, ill be getting the s8+, at least i wont need to tweak it to get stuff working wheb they should already be working out of the box

If you're going to spend that amount of money, HTC-u11 looks pretty good, and has kernel support already.

No good idea! The glass breaks very easily when you drop the phone!!! I wouldn't buy it.

not really, check drop tests compared with the iphone 7+ and the s8+, the s8+ wons.. and the s8+ compared to drop is much more resistant that this crap phone tgat if it drops, its bye bye... thus phone dropped twitce luckily it was allways with headphobe so it somehow helped hitting the floor with less "power", and ill be installing a nice case and ill be buying insurance

dont say that when you know nothing about it.. just because it isnt having daily updates, doesnt mean its dead.. that i know of, deepflex said hes working with other devices and working on making los14.1 for our device... Make sure your right before you say anything
