Hi all, I'm a n00b developer. All I Want is lengthen the life of the Galaxy S Advance
I just want to give a little support to not dead janice. My job is not the best but I'll try to improve it for you
This is a unofficial build of SlimLP 5.1 for Galaxy S Advance only, I am not responsible for bricked devices

Installation

1. Download ROM and Gapps
2. Put the files on SDCard
3. Reboot in recovery CWM
4. Wipe data/factory reset
5. Wipe cache partition
6. Advanced->Wipe dalvik cache
7. Install zip->choose zip from /storage/sdcard1
8. Choose "Slim-janice-5.1.1-XXXXXXXX.zip"
9. Choose yes
10. Repeat procedure to Gapps
11. Reboot system now

About Lollipop and others things

Tips to increase performance

• Use overclock CPU to 1150MHz for more stability, you can set with No-frills CPU Control
• Use overclock GPU to 600MHz for more smooth, you can set in NovaThorSettings
• Use F2FS in /data and /cache for better read speed in system ROM
• Avoid heavy applications (For example Facebook App), Janice lacks of RAM necessary for Lollipop to works fine
• The multitasking is bull**** in Lollipop, Be sure to close apps when not in use!

i cant find 5ghz WiFi in this rom only 2.4 GHz launcher is buggy dashclock widget

Very good rom, stable and with useful functions.
Just a tiny bug: the WiFi doesn't turn on the first try, but usually on the second or the third try.

As asquarex said .. Slim Roms are based on Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
with some interesting features of Cyanogen Mod, AOKP, CNA and some of their own .

Really awesame performance and slim you will have like 250mb<free space on system really great

As I said before go to settings>display find LCD density select 200

Yup only data and cache
I personally tested cache and it's just fine you should try it



Has any one notice that there is a swap partition
