This is CandyKat. Built straight from CyanogenMod source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM.We aim to add more features as this project progresses. We have also come up with the Candy Sweetener Pack. This is an Aroma installer that is full of delicious treats. Inspired by the CandyShop thread on XDA it has everything from glow dots to statusbar mods

Just so you know, the formatting of the page gets messed up on Tapatalk. Not sure if anything can be done to resolve, just wanted to let you know [emoji3]

Working terrifically thus far. A few things i would like to note:

1. The vibration is WAY more aggressive than other ROMs. By default it is set to like 1200 and even then it's violent. The problem is that if you turn it down, text/call vibrate is so soft you cant feel it but if it's up too high - texting is crazy. I changed the vibe intensity on the Google Keyboard but it's not ideal.

2. The keyboard is quite laggy. I downloaded the Google Keyboard from the play store but even that isn't working very well. The KB from GPE is very smooth and i thought that's the one from the Play Store so i've got to be missing something. will continue to dig but just thought i'd share.
-- Update: the Google Keyboard from the play store is much smoother. But the vibration "issue" seems to give the illusion of lag. Maybe it's just me...?

Thank you again for your hard work guys!

After I flashed this, gapps, and su I booted up fine but the setup wizard crashed, so I rebooted and same thing... Any suggestions or maybe I'm missing something? Thanks

Seems like this ROM doesn't like certain g apps. When I installed this ROM and flashed one set of gapps. I had everything but play store. So I downloaded another one and reflashed everything. It installed everything.

That said this is a great ROM which is smooth and quick and found a lolli ROM to replace lolli gpe ROM with the SMS issue. Will see how battery life is over the next few days. So far everything is great. Nice to see more lolli ROMs coming to our phones even when we don't have an official lolli release from HTC/Verizon yet. Thanks for the great work

Just an FYI.... Santod is waiting to update his gpe build because HTC should be releasing their update to fix the button backlights and maybe the SMS problem. He sees no point in making an update to it and then most likely having to port the new base that is right around the corner. It sucks that some of you have that issue but there isn't much he can do about that particular issue.

In the OP it states in features .. DarkUI / dialer, MMS etc... I flashed the darkui version of this ROM but still have white dialer, MMS etc... Is there a way to make those dark yet or am I too soon?

Actually the framework/base is the only think dark ATM. I thought I had the updated features list but obviously was wrong! It has been removed for now.
EDIT: Yes it is too soon as things have not been fixed yet for dark everything. Coming soon as we get it tho.
