You need to chill dude, as a senior you should know many phones react differently due to release dates etc, I also said I would update ....which now I am, bugs experienced today phone really did work fine for several hrs and I made several calls and sent many text and email used fb and Instagram and twitter with no issues with FC, how ever my troubles started when I tried to use the Bluetooth in the car the phone paired with no issue but had no audio in calls, when I disconnected from Bluetooth to make the call I then experienced the first call not sent issue and FC in apps I tried wiping dalvic bla bla and rebooted to no avail no matter what I did I could not get the phone back functional, hope this helps with rectifying the issues. Had to switch back to KK but seems inferior now have tasted lollipop ?
I don't need to chill. I was up front and honest. And it seems you're experiencing the same results as everyone else. And FYI, I have never enabled Bluetooth. These problems occurred right after updating. Calla not going through I cant explain. FCs are due to GCM. Any app that uses GCM libs or calls to it FCs.
I don't know where you get off telling me I nees to chill ab d then coming back and confirming that you too are suffering from the same results as everyone else who installs this ROM.
I want to use this ROM. I want it to succeed. However, just installing it and reporting back without putting i t through its normal usage paces is a bit disengenious.
Yes it installs great, yes it runs great. Right up until the point where you wtary to use it for day to day activities and then it all goes to ****.
The problem I have with users posting "everything works great awesome ROM" is it shifts the burden onto others that have followed the steps to the letter. Then we/us proceed to do it over and over again thinking "well if he's not having issues what am I doing wrong". Wasting a ton of time. Only to find out...wait he is having the same problems.
And yes I am a senior member, which means I've seen this plat out hundreds of times always with the same result. Guy who claimed everything was perfect then reposts about how everything is no longer working fine.
When installing and testing ROM, usage is 50% of the battle. Fresh installs are only good for saying " it installed well, no bootloops, booted cleanly ". Any other remarks need time to assess the robustness or fragility of the ROM.
It's one if those " ROM installed clean, I'll report back in 12 hours" situation. Give it time to fail/succeed. No hard feelings. But I know when a user is being over zealous. And I feel like that's what you were.
And FYI: I'm not claiming anyone in this thread is lying. But having suspicions is completely acceptable. And that's what I have. Basic math in this thread proves that more users are having these exact same issues than not. If this ROM is running great and no FCs and phone works, understand you're in the minority. My intention is not to come off like a ****, however you are free to interpret that as you wish. I lose no sleep over it.
If I didn't want to contribute and I didn't want this ROM to succeed I wouldn't have been one of the first to install it and report back. And you can bet your ass when the next release comes around I'll be one of the first to install it and report back a thorough assessment. Because I want it to succeed and conquer just like Candy4.
