Umm what kind of proof would you like? Screenshots? Screen recording?

And rofl @ flashing the rom right. Listen this isn't rocket surgery. Wipe dalvik/cache/data/system. I actually do that three times because I'm anal. Then select rom, add gapps and super su. Install. Then after I proceed to wipe delvik again just for sad measure. Reboot.

ROM boots, install apps directly from the play store(I don't use titanium or any other form of backed up data).

Please don't be condescending and ask me if I flashed it "right". Yeah been doing this for awhile.

I'm not really sure if you're claiming I'm lying so have some screenshots.

There's lots of other bugs I can describe as well. But when users like you say things like " did you flash it right" it really makes it hard to want to come back and report.
no one tell you that you dont know istall properly this rom but you have to find what did you wrong to get these issues, i had never got any Fc's on clean install, knowing that all gapps are aupdated.

cheers

What I did wrong? Lol. I didn't do anything wrong but I do know how yo reproduce it 100% consistently.

1. Install ROM+Gapps
2. Auto Update Play Store
2. Uninstall all Gapps from system except Play Store.
3. Reinstall Gapps from Play Store. Hangouts, Hangouts Dialer, etc.
4. Reboot
5. Watch Gapps+Random apps begin to crash all over.

This isn't user error, its called "Use Case". And its not even a fringe use case.Your attitude regarding the infallibility of this ROM is very unproductive.

First of all @matthew0776 isn't "a user" he's candy team leader.

Second of all I don't own m4, so there's no way for me to fix these problems with out logcat, your giant rant doesn't help me and makes me want to drop support for m4.

If you really want this rom to be what you want it to be then help me help you.

And yes there are some options that don't work on e every device, deal with it!

I'm sorry you lost me with "matthew0076 isn't a user". What does that have to do with anything? When did I mention anything about " a user". And not for nothing, but being a team leader doesn't mean he isn't a user. He surely is indeed a user. That's not really debatable.

As far as "deal with it"... Um no. If your ROM doesn't support a feature then you remove it from that ROM for that specific device, grey it out, but you don't let the user select it and then wonder why its not working...furthermore this device DOES support it. I'm using CM right now with D2W/S2W. *Your* kernel does not support it. The fact that you're the maintainer for this device and you just said that kind of makes me wonder.

Now about those logcats, I will gladly provide you with them. I'll hop back into your ROM some time tonight and reproduce them and attach the files in a post.

If you think my feedback is a "rant" that kind of makes me want to say "f that rom" and not even visit your thread. If you'd prefer that, let me know. Not my lose.

Hey man, regardless of how long you've been on xda or blah blah... You should treat devs with more respect. We have precious few for m4 and you're pushing them away. I for one am very grateful, I've been using it and enjoying the relative stability for almost a week. Merry Christmas all

Your attempt to lay the blame at my feet for "pushing devs away" is seriously awesome. Laughable, but awesome.

The issues i reported on were met with a "deal with it" attitude. That's terrible. Why am I taking time out of my day to report any bugs? Its absurd. Especially when those broken features ARE supported by the device.

I'd really rather not go back and forth as its completely counter productive. So I'll just leave you guys and this ROM at it. Good luck to the Candy5 team.

(Btw, Unofficial CM12 now available, D2W/S2W kernel patch is fighting me but once I get it to build it will be usable in Candy5 as well. Fix some of those broken features)

Mobile data NOT working :(

Now i can make phone calls but mobile data doesn't start. The switch shows me that is on but is not working :( And i think the ROM has a little bit of lag (i noticed that in Facebook app, which crashed a few times).

For mobile data toggling airplane mode off and on works for me

I'm still having issues with bluetooth and handsfree.
I'm guessing it's not the phone dialer, rather it's bluetooth audio in general.
On the car connection if I have UConnect dial the number it connects and dials but plays through the phone's speakers.
If I use BT to stream music from my phone to my car (UConnect), again, it does not go through car audio/speakers.

The latest version is wonderful and, in my opinion, currently the best version of Lollipop available for our device.
I think the CM 12 (Unofficial) is really good, too. Hope they get the camera going as it's a peppy little rom.

I'm on Vodafone Romania. I'm not sure what settings i had before but i know the mobile data was working without making any changes.
an exclamation point appears when data mobile is not enabled :

once activated :

Check APN and/or remake.

I can't see images on the links you pasted above.
Anyway, i've recreated the APN profiles, with the correct configs and still not working. I notice that i can't switch from 3G to LTE directly, i have to switch to 2G first and then to LTE (on preffered network setting).

Confirmed, Bluetooth does connect but the audio still routes through the phone speaker for me.
