Possibly add a ".nomedia" file in that specific directory? Just create a blank file with that name. In theory (from what I understand) it should stop it from being scanned.

So add that file. Clear your storage cache, reboot into recovery clear cache(this is probably redundant) and then reboot your device and check your gallery. Let me know if this works.

PS. Maybe clear your gallery data as well prior to reboot.

Did you try Toggling Aeroplane mode twice (so disable all connectivity and re-enabling it alltogether again) as mentioned before?

Updating from 0.9.2 to 0.9.4 my M4 couldn't activate cellular service. Same goes for CM12 that I flashed shortly after. Tried PAC-Rom, CM11, Insert Coin, Stock, CandyKat and so on, all on 4.4.x with perfect network.

Flashed clean every single time, going with stock Android until the issue is resolved.

Thanks anyways for the Lollipop experience I had. It was fun while it lasted :good:

After using RC.v0.9.4 a few days i discovered that SMS is not working for me. I'm able to write a SMS, but it will not be transmitted.

Also: If i open the Appdrawer, i have sometimes just a white screen. After closing and reopen the Appdrawer a few times the Apps are showing up.

I think I know why it's not working.

I don't have any APN profiles @ settings.
And I can't add APN configurations, it just doesn't save.

Any fix?

It happened to me too. It didn't save the profile because the values i inserted were not coresponding to the one of my carrier and country has. Check your carrier website for mobile internet settings.

An easy test to this is to add your APN directly to the com.android.providers.telephoney.settings database circumventing the Android GUI. Save it, remove the APNs listed in cache, reboot

I can give a walkthrough for for hose that have never done this before if interested. Its pretty easy.

Prereq is you have to be rooted.

I suggest installing https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.sqleditor

Its a SQLlite editor. Open the database file @ /data/data/com.android.providers.telephoney then enter the database directory then carriers. Bam. All the APNs the phone has. You can then change then to locked, unlocked, inherited, entitled etc. Create new ones, delete them, modify them. This should bypass the errors you're getting.

Warning: Do not touch anything that say "entitlement" unless you know what you are doing. (On the plua side entitlement APNs are how you twart Carrier billed tethering ;) )

BTW, I know of a 2014 Moto G user having this exact same problem on lollipop 5.0.1 non-cm12. The Unofficial CM12 for this phone doesn have this problem. So I'm totally confused as to what is causing it. It's clearly not CM12/Candy5 specific.

So try to keep the pitchforks at bay.
