i spent hours but cant get it to work! there is no ginerbread.xml! all i see is AndroidManifest.xml and it didnt work!

Alright its not that hard to get the theme working if you play around with it. So i'll write some friendly steps for you.
1. Download zip file for metamorph theme
2. place said zip in root of your sd card
3. download install metamorph
4. open it
5. it may crash. it did for me so open it again
6. tap on open/install new theme
7. find the zip on the root of your sd card
8. it wont install properly it didnt for me BUT it installed the xml file you need
9. plug your phone back into your pc, usb mass storage it so you can access the sd card
10. find the folder AndroidThemes
11. you should see a folder in that one corresponding to the theme we are trying to install, so if you didnt rename the ZIP it should say CarloRom or something.
12. unzip the entire zip in that folder
13. unmount sd card
14. open metamorph
15. install existing theme
16. you'll see a warning
17. install the theme, it will freeze/reboot DO NOT PANIC!!
18. phone starts and your theme is installed.
****NOTE!! your date and time bar will not be viewable as they are black font you need to search now how to apply the services.jar to change the colour
IF thats too long for you then follow these steps:

12. your phone will install the theme, it may take a while, preferable to make things smoother, have unknown sources, and usb debugging checked in settings, dont be a noob you can find it, also set your screen to timeout in 30 mins makes the process a little easier
13. Phone will do a strange reboot, (as in you wont see your logos and stuff just a frozen screen, DO NOT PANIC, its all fine
14. your theme is applied

GPS Issues
On a side note, i was having issues getting a gps lock on my phone, found out that the config file for it was set for the states... thats not helpful for where i am.lol
So for people that have a similar issue, this app is the best fix for it.

I figured out putting a theme together! Based on Oa8c.Simplistic so thank the creator!
@jobankler cool, i'll take a look, i haven't had much time to look at makeing themes. Also dont just say thanks to people click their thanks button on the post. The admins were getting upset about something like that before, so just as a word of advice.

So i was modding the metamorph theme that giandeli put up, this one has a lighter status bar and i ran into an issue that buggs the crap out of me... I wanted to invert the SMS notification icon, anyone know where it is and if i can change it?

I found out that its more difficult to get the icon for the sms notification to change, changed.... so i guess i'll tough it.
unless someone knows how to edit a pro file? or what it is?

guys how come i cant appy any themes from metamorph anymore! it just keeps on saying PLEASE WAIT Apply framework-res.apk! i even let it do that for over 30mins and it just didnt work! it worked fine the first 2 times i tryed it!
I know that you can change the battery wifi and all that kind of stuff thats accessable in the metamorph theme itself, however it seems that app specific icons are a little harder... also metamorph can change the font colours of everything except the service provider, date, and time, i changed all that to white one my phone, and combined the theme you posted with my adjustments from the carloROM theme. I havent uploaded it, so if you want those specific files that change the colours to white i can upload them.
K, i was having that issue too and found a work around, this is a little bit of an iffy work around but it works.lol
download ES Task Manager and put the widget on a homescreen,
then you need to turn USB debbugging off
then start metamorph, try and install, it will sit and do squat, this is good, let it sit for 10 mins maybe, thats a good estimate.
go to the homescreens tap the ES task killer widgit, everything is stoped,
turn USB debugging on
open metamorph again, and tap force close
open it once again then you should be able to apply the theme no problem

wow avengin! u know everything huh! ur way worked like a charm! all we need to do it now work on the notification toggle icons sucha as the wifi button and bluetooth and etc..
I ran into that problem with metamorph a few days ago, so thats how i knew, just messen around with stuff and i figure stuff out.
no what specifiacally do you mean by these notification icons? as in the toggles on the drop down menu? cause i do believe i can have those changed... i will get back to you on that though, gimme a few hrs.

I have no idea, that would be a question better suited for the devs of the recovery rom, and as for the notification menu toggles... it has to be edited in the rom itself to be "gone" CM7 does this but we dont have that yet.lol
yea i just flashed ciox verious and it worked! but has the same color issue!
