Soooo.... I may be onto something with the notification toggles and stuff I will let you know more after I do a backup and remove an apk from system/framework....

So good news and semi better news,
good news: you can change the notification bar toggles, icons and boarder
Better news: I changed the toggles icons, however missed the file that was the back ground (face palm)
Even better news: I'll have it uploaded later today, however.... this isnt like a metamorph theme.... i need someone to help with that (@giandeli), what this will be though is a tutorial requiring a pc, and adb and replacing a system apk file, i'll see what i can do but perhaps i can do it that everything can be done by the phone itself, if so it will be a quicker install, if not a little longer it will take.

yeah me too, we'll see maybe someones gonna port/is trying to port to p506 and that will be the first step for us
avengin can the source code help us in any way? i have it uploaded on into this forum so look into it!
i have it downloaded, but i'm not that well versed in that area, so yeah when i know it a bit more i can look into it.
So there is an issue with theme the notification buttons..... i lost the ability to download from the app market... i'm looking for a way around this and i'll get back to you. i can so far change the buttons but no the banner behind it...

Yeah, i'll do what i can but... i unfourtunately cant get past the android.proccess.media error Force close on downloading from the app market... i dont know if its gonna happen anywhere else... but the toggles your gonna have to stick with for now.
So this is aimed at anyone that can help, I'm not near a pc to do my searching, I was wondering if someone could point me to making an update.zip to flash themes, and system/framework apk mods, p500 update.zips that are like this wont install... its saying something about no binary image found? At least on the one that I recently downloaded, any info would help.
@jobankler this is the route that I think will be the easiest way to change notification toggles. I have a p500 gingerbread replacement so I'm gonna mess around and hopefully get it working. It looks quite nice.
Also I can't mount usb in recovery... CWM or twrp... its saying it can't find a file? A .uns file or something along that line

I got those errors when I tried to flash something besides arom! Do u have all the correct drivers on ur computer?
Pretty sure I do cause I had it working a few times when I did another p500 rom flash, so maybe its something to do with the rom on the phone? And the fact the recovery isn't suppose to be for this phone? Anyone try the p506 recovery rom on the p505?

umm weird i had this happened to my friends capitivate but when i flashed to stock n reflashed it again it worked. no i havent tried the p506 recovery but its just the same right but with the color fix right?
guys! i flashed a overclocked Optimus kernel and everything seemed fine besides the colors and phone didnt wake up after going into standby mode! you think we can fix the color issue and use that kernel? like raenye fixed the color issue for cwm recovery! i got back to the kernel that came with our phone so im good now.
yea lemme know what he says! want the kernel i used? it let me over clocked to 810
So I've been trying my hand at themeing the lge-res.apk but I metamorph doesn't seem to wanna apply it... I have the theme setup like the carloRom theme. Is there something I am mising by any chance? When I have a chance I'll upload the zip for the theme for you to look at. But as of yet, I'm not having luck themeing the notification toggles.
