Then:
waiting 72 hrs to unlock :laugh:
1. flash MegaThread [CFW](check ur phone could reboot to RECOVERY mode : Power + Volume up -seem like "MegaThread picture" page#3)
2. see the Instructions (antibrick):
First time installation:
Download and unpack "CFW prepare tool" for crDroid 6.x
reboot to flash mode : flash the CFW prepare tool
3. reboot to TWRP and clean "ALL" + FORMAT DATA and
flash crDroidAndroid-10.0-20200713-begonia-v6.8.zip
that is all:highfive:
ps. Don't flash back to "MIUI Offical ROM" anytime UNTIL OVER PHONE LIFE.
Hi,
Thanks for clarifying, so just to be sure :
I follow Megathread post#3 instructions :
CFW Migration Steps
Coming from MIUI
- Downgrade to MIUI Android 9, if not already
- Flash preloader and lk as mentioned in first post
- Flash any non-CFW Android 9 recovery
--> ie. custom TWRP non CFW, but where to find it ?
- Boot into recovery
Once it is OK and it boots to recovery I can follow crDroid Antibrick instructions which will install CFW, CFW TWRP and CFW ROM all at once :
- Reboot to Fastboot mode (vol- or vol+ with power button)
- Download and unpack CFW prepare tool
- Run !_FLASH_IT_W.bat on Windows or !_FLASH_IT_L.sh on Linux
DO NOT MODIFY THIS SCRIPT, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET A BRICK!!!
If something goes wrong, check if you have ADB drivers installed on Windows, or packages with fastboot on Linux.
Will be flashed: Service Preloader, [CFW]TWRP, CFW img's and etc., after which the phone will reboot into TWRP.
In TWRP click on Wipe menu and make:
- Format Data
- Wipe /system, /vendor, /cache
(don't pay attention to failures in console logs)
- Download and place the ROM to the internal memory of the phone, which should have already opened on the PC
(I do not recommend SD cards, often phones fail because they turn out to be broken)
- Click on Install menu and chose this ROM
- Download and install others additions which you need: GAPPS for ARM64/10, Magisk and etc.
- Reboot to system
And VOILA !
And no I won't downgrade to MIUI ever !
