I already downgrade to MIUI 11 Android 9 .

but, how to flash Indian firmware(vendor.img), twrp or fastboot ?

Is this first step? or i can flash (vendor.img ) through twrp

anyone can tell me some detials. thx

---------------------------------
Note: Flash on Indian firmware based on MIUI 11 Android 9 for bug-free experience, download it here
1. Take a backup of your phone
2. Flash lk and preloader from the factory build
3. Flash TWRP & Boot to TWRP and wipe - System, Data and Dalvik Cache (Leave vendor as it is)
3. Flash ROM
4. Reboot System
You can flash vendor through fastboot (fastboot flash vendor vendor.img) or via twrp (install, change from zip to img, select vendor, then the vendor.img)

I have EU rom 11.02..0 on my phone, its rooted and flashed custom recovery.
if I flash this Rom, how can I later go back to Miui?
can I do it from custom recovery? flashing MIUI?
Note this is a CesiumOS thread not MIUI thread. But whatever I guess. You would do the exact same thing you do to flash a custom rom.? Just with your MIUI rom zip instead.

NO! Go back and read first post, it clearly says you have to be on Android 9.
If you do this, you will brick your device.
I have to be on Android 9 to be able to flash this ROM?
Thats you trying to say?

This is an inaccurate post. It says you should flash on Indian firmware (more specifically Indian vendor) for bug-free experience but it is not required. Also as far as I am aware anyone can flash Indian vendor. I'm on global and flash Indian vendor plenty of times with no issue.

That being said factory preloader and lk would not work on MIUI Android 10 and that would probably brick your device.

So technically if this user knows what they are doing they can accomplish flashing CesiumOS without bricking their device.?

Initial boot also hung for me. Eventually I did a hard reset by holding down the power button. Restarted with VOL+ and POWER then selected bootloader to return to fastboot

I reflashed official TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/begonia/) - fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1-0-begonia.img
I reflashed Begonia Indian Vendor image (https://drive.google.com/a/turbox.uk/uc?id=1qeBVWZmuBiMIUDgkvHuakTiIoyqY8daI&export=download) - fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
Just to be safe I flashed the preloader, lk and lk2 images as documented in the megathread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-8-pro/how-to/guide-redmi-note-8-pro-megathread-t4056527)
fastboot reboot
then using the VOL+ and POWER buttons I went straight into Recovery this time
Now in TWRP I formatted data, then in the wipe menu, checked data, cache, system and dalvik
Then I flashed the Cesium image again.

At this point I could boot to the Cesium OS and I went through regular setup.

NOTE. The "official" TWRP recovery doesn't support decryption at this time? So after this is all done, reflash your recovery partition with this one - https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...overy-unofficial-twrp-recovery-redmi-t4002397

So let's have a real talk of what's working and what's not.
Actually everything works apart from VoLTE, NFC, FM, Caller UI doesn't appear (Call works but just it doesn't pop up) Will fix them by next update! Enjoy pure android experience till then!

Again! Hat's off to Agent Fabulous without him it would have never been possible go and thank him before! also not to mention our legendary tester Sagar without him we were nothing! :)
I'm having issues with LTE. It appears to be connected (shows LTE under mobile data icon) but i can't download anything if wi-fi is off. Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?

Thanks man. I tried most of the weekend and gave up lol. On 11.0.6.0 global with terminal emulator pumping up the silly tiny status bar with command 'su' then 'wm density an a number'

Hate miuis tiny status bar an want a custom rom for that reason.

Will try your suggestions ? thanks again
