Yeah, xiaomi is to blame for this and what is the point to change camera sensor of a device after it has been launched. I want to know do you have that red colour? Because in my knowledge only that varient have different camera sensor.

No have grey/black one bought as early as June 2020.
Already spammed several Xaomi accounts about releasing kernel source, but you only get those annoying "dear friend blah blah, will forward it to technical experts" answers where you know exactly it just got moved to the trash.

They just don't care. Give them your money (at least way less than you would give apple) and use their spyware or just go to hell

U have to flash it as a magisk module...So far this gcam is the best one that works for me...

I also wanted the ANX for 64MP cam but it isn't yet compatible with the A11 platform...The Unity190 And 48MPfix.zip do flash and boot up but the framework190.zip creates boot problems. So, basically the camera app crashes for ANX. Same goes for the 185 or 184 version too... I guess we have to wait for that...

kinda makes sense
they make their phones cheap and they do that assuming we will use there software with ads and all.
makes sense for them to not release source code for everyone making roms without ads.

I did everything according to the instructions. I'll try again tomorrow, maybe its my fault

I reinstalled it. Again according to the instructions. And NFC still won't work. WHY? Maybe its because of GApps version? What if install non-gapps?

U should try it out...flash a non-gapps build with a suitable nik-gapps/opengapps-test-build by ur choice and see if ur problem still persists...
mine's working fine so far.

Apps keep crashing a lot

Apps like digital wellbeing and others keep crashing... Kinda ruined my experience ngl... I was hoping for a much better and much Stabler experience... But by far it has just been a nuisance to use.... I don't understand what's the problem but it really throws me off... A lot of the stuff just doesn't work... Can't open Google maps and a few other applications... Games like codm crash while in a match.... I am kinda just sick of these issues... I hope the dev team help me with these issues or fix them in the next update

There are no such issues present I'm myself using this rom from 2 months now. And about that cod crash in mid game, use magisk hide and hide magisk manager app in setting. And about those application crashing, do clean flash again with nikgapps, or use gapps version.

I'm getting a weird bug, i can only install android Q(CesiumOS 2.6, or Resurection Remix, PixysOS 3.1). When i try to use PixysOS 4.x it bootloop to fastboot mode.. (tried orange TWRP, the unnoficial ones) nothing is change so far.. Any ideas?

Below a summary of my install of PixysOS 4 on my RN8P.
Just note that I face difficulties with the installation of twrp (the phone never boots on twrp and made 4/5 bootloops before starting again on miui).

I have a question :
On Miui, when we put a finger on the rear sensor, the phone turns on the screen (like we press the on/off button).
Do you know how to do this on PixysOS without configuring fingerprint ? Is it possible ?


From MIUI 12 :

- Steps to unlock

- Enable usb debugging

- Reboot in fastboot mode

- Download and Modification of the .bat linked in the PE Extended installation page flash_cfw+twrp (delete the lines "fastboot erase * ..." that destroy partitions else you have to install miui again)

- Now the phone reboot in recovery mode (thx to the .bat program)

- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache(DON'T WIPE VENDOR).

Voici un résumé de mon install de PixysOS4.
J'ai rencontré des problèmes avec twrp (le tel rebootait en boucle 4/5 fois avant de redemarrer sur miui).


Depuis MIUI 12:

- Faire les étapes pour débloquer

- Activer le debogage usb

- Redemarrer en mode fastboot

- Modification du .bat fourni sur la page d install de PE Extended (suppression des lignes "fastboot erase * ..." qui detruisent les partitions sinon il faudra réinstaller et rebooter sur miui)

- Execution du script

- Le tel reboote sur twrp

- Wipe System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache(DON'T WIPE VENDOR).

- Telecharger la ROM voulue avec ou sans gapps

- Telecharger begonia A11 CFW3.0

- Uploader ces 2 fichiers sur le tel par usb

- Installer cfw vendor (begonia A11 CFW3.0) puis la ROM voulue (attention, gapps sont inclues dans la ROMGAPPS)
