b/ i like the stock look and wanted to let people choose
Hi Chris,

Totally agree on the stock look having been researching some of the themes.

Seems I'm being given a Touch HD by work (unfortunately not an HD2, but then its not costing me anything), so have been looking at the ROMs over in that forum - they all look rather gawdy :)

I did try changing some of the graphic files in your ROM, and although I don't think it saved any RAM, I do think it made switching tabs a bit quicker. BUt then it was already fast, so it's hard to measure the difference.

Hope you are enjoying the HD2.

Cheers,

Steve.

Well I'll have a look at it and see if I can keep developing it for you! Can you remember what yor planned changes were or should I just carry on with it?

I'll make sure to credit your work if I release a new ROM based on yours! :D

Diamond owners are going to miss you Chris! But hopefully your work will live on!

lol, just have fun:) i was moving over from autorun to xdaUC to allow cab installs as part of the build (as i'm lazy) mainly as the base was stable so it's just adding or removing that i was looking at.

i'm just having hell getting EVK packages to work for the HD2:( was gonna take a break but hell, i can't resist;)

the release i was working on was 4;)
Hi Chris (and others),

Well I downloaded the kitchen and in my usual style of ignoring instructions and not having any clue of what I'm doing (etc.), I blindly went through and made some changes, then built and flashed the release 4 ROM.

Looks fine so far - it flashed OK, and booted OK - just waiting for it to customise now.

So Chris it looks like it wasn't the content of the ROM that broke your Diamond.

Cheers,

Steve.
