[ROM][CleanKAT][V4.1][A120]Canvas 2 colours

Copying files to and from this device can only be done via MTP.

This is truly frustrating, as it is not only slow, but disconnects several times.

I loved the Mass storage mode of the older ROM, but it is missing from this ROM.

Please show us how to install mass storage mode back in this device

... Or some way to make the MTP mode transfer more reliable.

Another problem I'm facing is while connecting an external USB drive to the USB port.

It always says 'blank USB storage' and then asks if I want to format it.

How to get USB storage to work in this ROM?

wiko base refers to stock rom of Wiko rainbow, similarly Fota and rio base means stock rom of mmx a120 and Rio respectively. To get smooth experience of rom of custom rom without any bug flash rom according to the base rom which you have on your smartphone. Google and search on xda more if you didnt get it.

I would advice you to flash cwm recovery via Odin and then flash wiko rainbow rom which is cwm flashable. And then you can install cleankat 4.1 on top of it.

Does this ROM make A120 unrooted?

In my mmx Colors A120, the phone was rooted by KingRoot and CWM was also installed. But after I put on CleanKat FOTA base, the phone becomes unrooted and also CWM recovery is also gone. Is it ok? Will I have to root again?

I'm Using MMX A120 4gb variant and currently on Dark L V1.5. Which version should I install? Can I install wiko based 4.1? My Phones battery drains too fast and cant make it through a full day. Any suggestion for me???

Can't install recovery also.. is there any other ways to install recovery except sptools. (i tried by mobile uncle but it gives the error that the phone must be rooted.)

Why don't you want to use sp flash tools? In fact it's the best and safest way.

i have to install cwm recovery for flashing wiko rainbow rom but since i am in stock kitkat..i am having ctr recovery instead of cwm...I am not being able to flash cwm recovery on kitkat rom..

Because currently I dnt have a PC.. so it would be better if there is some other way to root.. its on Cleankat v4.

Here is Cleankat 4.0 for FOTA Kitkat base, check your kernel date in about phone, if it's 21aug, means you are on FOTA kitkat and you can flash this :fingers-crossed:

Instructions- It's full rom, wipe data and flash the rom.

Download V4.0

i am facing an invalid imei error in cleankat v4.1 .i tried flashing my self created imei using cwm recovery...but cwm recovery isnt working anymore on the rom...as soon as i am trying to select any file from sd card..it gives an error.."unable to mount sd card"..plz help..

• My phone has been unrooted after flashing the ROM. even framaroot or kingroot is not working.. How to again root it. And also CWM is also gone.
• The phone is heating up vigorously, which was not so in Stock ROM, and also battery usage has increased.

It would be a great help if you can help me.

FYI: I am on stock FOTA ROM before flashing CleanKAT.

Try flashing it again via pc and complete the process this time round. It should work fine. For the Imei fix, try using mobile uncle tools. You can Google the same for tutorials.

FYI: I am on stock FOTA ROM before flashing CleanKAT.

Flash cwm recovery again and install supersu zip to root. This ROM I guess won't be developed further but I didn't face any major issues with 4.1 on top of wiko rainbow. Heating I guess has now become compulsory with every android device. You can root your phone and use apps like greenify to manage battery in a better way.
