Actually I thought Newer is Better and I was following this post. Now I'm on V2.1
Which one should I install, V2.2 or V2.2a on the other post?

V2.2 is better that V2.2a

But you have also put ram management software on V2.2a, which i guess not there in V2.2

No, flash stock jb and cwm for jb, then flash v2.2 also, i'll update v2.2 in future but won't do v2.2a

Yes, i also tried v2.2, phone didn't boot. however official FOTA was woring.

I just flashed Stock mmx a120 using SP flash tool then flashed the CTR recovery v2.2 and then flashed the v2.2 ROM as instructed! It booted up with white screen having white and black texture and no further sccreen! The phone booted up completely with same white screen! even i felt the vibration and navigations keys also light up! I locked the screen and then unlocked it! Everything normal! Each time i reboot this happens! The ROM is so much battery freindly till now! But it will be too soon to say anything about it! Still testing! umangleekha ROCKS! :good: :good: :good: :good:

Yes, now i remember, same thing was happening to me when i flashed v2.2 (the white and black texture thing). maybe v2.3 will solve the issue.

Its not the issue in MMX A120 but only in i9 and clones

That cannot be fixed on fota based rom, use V2.2a, if there are bugs in V2.2a, tell me and i'll update

Just update v2.2a for the last time to v2.3 with all the patches and tweaks you added for battery and performance in FOTA based and then give patches which can work on both ROms, it will be a great help from your side

why did you flash CTR Recovery when Umangleekha's instructions clearly said you have to use CWM Recovery? were you just experimenting with a different recovery? Maybe that would have got you a different result from other users using i9 ! what do you think?

Its not the thing, the white and black screen is due to the change in Kernel so its not the fault of recovery, I followed all the procedure but got same result
