I am being serious! I had to 're cut my screen protector and as I had dropped my phone I must have knocked the sensor, when I slapped it against the table it worked again! Try a app called androsensor to check the sensor in case the other app is wrong, it should either say 0 or 2

Hi spanorg, just try your last ROM but apparently there is a problem with the audio. In my specific case I do not have any audio output. Elixir is telling me "not ringing, no call", even if ringer mode is set to normal.

Ok.. I installed andro sensor.. It shows zero all the time for the proximity sensor.. Also tried smacking the proximity parr of fone against wood.. No positive result..

Hmm.

Bluetooth pairs to headset, i hear key-notes and screen presses. but i do not get either voice or tone in phone calls.

With the proper custom recovery you'll be able to flash any custom rom, cm11,KK as well.

also, there is no sound coming from the speaker even in notification or music player

Been running this all day and had no issues except the camera not displaying in the app drawer which is a real kick in the teeth as i hate the EMUI camera/gallery. I've tried pushing numerous 4.2/4.3 camera/galleries(?) to system/app with correct permissions (6,4,4) but no luck at all.

Any solutions? Would rather be on a 4.4 based ROM but I've had too many crashes/force closes when running them so this is the next best thing!

(alot of my apps aren't installing properly, and now I have double of certain apps, one previously installed on the external, and one newly installed on the internal.)

but I don't want to wipe my old data partition
