I'm having terrible battery life on this rom, just flashed it last night and went to work today, battery drained all the way to 2% without me even laying my hands on it. It's most likely due to the screen flicker problem when the screen is off, does anybody have a fix for this? I'm really enjoying this rom and looking forward to using it as my daily.

If you don't mind me asking. How many hours did it take to drain to 2% ?

You should rarely blame a Rom for battery problems.

Use betterbatterystats or a wakelock detector to see what's causing the battery drain.

Also go to titanium and uninstall googlebackuptransport.all

And then use greenify to hibernate your apps.

Also how old is your battery?

Usually its the persons mistake for the battery problem, not the roms

Battery was doing fine the night before when using Virtuous Unity.

I can also confirm the battery drain problem, but threes a twist to it. When im using my phone, it sometimes randomly hard-reboots and then when everything is loaded, the battery displays only 2% left(when i actually had 56%). It didn't happen when I first installed the rom, but just this weekend. No problems today, though. This is with the rom update before the new October rom.

unfortunately I have to retract what I said. I had synthetic's kernel flashed over this rom about a week ago and avoided signal issues back then -- however, I tested it once again and I did indeed lose signal.

still a dead end it would seem

Skokie, IL
new build posted... lots of updates :)
Thanks for all the work! I appreciate it very much...

Just a quick report, more later-- Cannot find the camera at all (it was called "Focal" in the last build, if I recall correctly). I have two other camera apps, though, JB+ and Vignette, and they both seem to work.

But all attempts to use Gallery, or any app that calls Gallery folders (like JB+ Gallery or QuickPic) instantly crashes/reboots the phone.

Focal is now a standalone app.

It's on xda most likely. Search it and it should show up.

Alrighty, did what you said and I've got an update hopefully you or someone else could resolve. I was at 15% battery when I decided I'd plug in my headphones to jam out to some old classic Motley Crue, and before the song even ended my battery had went all the way to 7%. Seems to only happen when I play music out the headphones. Heres a screenshot

::facepalm::

How long have you been here....

Just wondering...

Have you read anything about "headset overheat"

Try and infer what the two words mean together.

Headset overheat is a known problem with jellybean roms as well as data drop.
