[ROM] CM-10.2 | AOSP 4.3 Jellybean [KANG] [Oct-11]

So I haven't updated since one of the more stable beginning of September builds. I have a lot of my settings just how I like them. Despite this, it looks like there have been some significant changes since early September and that everything is looking pretty stable (minus the usual jellybean headset heat-up/signal drop/speakerphone-mute problems).

My question is, can I do a dirty flash and still expect things to be somewhat stable. Before, I used to do a full wipe, but that got so tedious. It might just be me being lazy, but I'm hoping a dirty flash is all I need. Can anyone confirm that dirty flashes work well?

Ah--Just changed my launcher back to Trebuchet from GO Launcher EX and the Camera app appeared in my app drawer. Weird. Same behavior with Gallery, though--instant crash/reboot.

I did; always do a full wipe, data, cache, and Dalvik. Camera works. Gallery crashes/reboots the rom. At least so far.

It doesn't show it in the tapatalk app. Also, here is a straight answer.

Plugging in your headphones and playing any type of sound will cause your phone to heat up to the point where it murders your battery.

Also Just read through threads and try and figure out answers to your problems. I've only been here since April. By May I was porting roms, only because I started to read a lot and about the issue s going down.

Sorry about you thinking I'm a smartass, it was sarcasm and it doesn't work well with just words on the internet. Hope this clears a lot of things up for you.

Been getting random reboot and when I let the phone sit it won't wake up, so I have to pull battery and turn phone on.
Anyone else experiencing that ?
I've done full wipes and also reflashed the rom a few times
When it works it works good though.

I try to help out as much as I can. Are the links working for Trackpad wake, also Coderzs 64 kernel won't work on this rom without some ramdisk modifications. I've done the mods in my thread over in the general section.

A clean reflash of the rom? Dirty? A clean reflash means hours re-tweaking my settings, ouch...

I'm pretty sure that a dirty flash will still wipe the system.

So if you tweaked anything in the system, then its probably gonna her wiped with a dirty flash. But what's what I think and I'm.not sure.

I'm not sure either. I had just flashed the nightly and was getting reboots, then I found out gallery rebooted the phone, so I just wiped and reflashed.

Random reboot, gallery crash, WiFi always scanning not working , WiFi will not work when sending or receiving data via bluetooth. Speaker is too loud and so much distortion.

Ah yes, the Trackpad wake link you provided is working. I'll make sure to check out that thread to get Coderzs kernel working, was wondering why it wouldn't boot up when I installed it.

Can you tell me if the WiFi still works on it? It might break it but I'm unsure. Just re-flash the original kernel then, its in that thread too.
