Code:
Your warranty is now void.

Flashing this rom assumes you have a sufficient technical understanding of
your device. Before continuing, you should be aware of the risks involved
and have an idea of what to do if something goes wrong. I am not responsible
for any bricked or otherwise malfunctioning devices.
This is CM Lite, an AOSP-like ROM built on top of the CyanogenMod platform. The goal is simple: to behave as close to AOSP while utilizing the unmatched development speed and community support of CyanogenMod. Ideally, this ROM will easily be built for any other device supported by CyanogenMod.

Features:
  • AOSP-like
  • Root (via developer options)
  • CMActions / Gestures

Known Issues:
  • Any bugs found in the official CM nightlies
  • CMActions / Gestures do not work until navigating to the Gestures menu in Settings at least once
  • Soft reboot after initial setup
  • Flaky WiFi after initial setup (just reboot)
  • I screwed up a merge in the 12/1/15 build, so the quick settings UI is a little wonky. I'll fix it soon.

The livedisplay thing from cm would also be nice to have, enabling color calibration and stuff

It's an interesting topic of conversation, really. Which CM features do most people want in a ROM that is supposed to be "pure" like AOSP? At what point does the line blur? Initially I've opted to keep the features included in the "stock" Moto X version of Android, and strip out pretty much everything else. I'll leave it open for discussion though; if enough people want LiveDisplay then I don't mind adding it back in.

Is this just cm without some features, or does it have some caf stuff like the last thread

First bug off the bat, T-Mobile data doesn't work at all. Tried changing APNs, re registering on the network, rebooting, wiping cache. Nothing.

Currently it's just CM with all the bells and whistles stripped out, but CM is heavily influenced by CAF for qcom devices. What features are you looking for?

That's interesting. Do you get the same behavior on the CM nightlies?

regarding features, can you use caf drivers for the camera ? the chipset supports 1080p60fps normal and 120fps slowmo recording but motorola has disabled both. the imx135 sensor is capable for more , even the raw support ( it's same sensor as lg g2/g3 ) . if you could manage to do that,it would be awesome and hopefully improve the picture/video quality too. thanks :fingers-crossed:

I'll definitely look into it. The CM kernel sources are already heavily CAF based but by the looks of the commit history, also heavily influenced by Moto's changes. Kernel development isn't really my forte but I'll see what I can figure out. Always down for learning new stuff.

What exactly is removed from cm in this rom. A few things aggrivate me in custom ROMs (The freaking quick settings mods, removal of system ui tuner, the while glitchfest of a volume panel when linking notification and ringer (hopefully that was removed. Most important one here), maybe theme engine (ehh, could live with CMTE, layers is preferred), AOSP settings, etc.) and I would love to see a ROM without the cm tweaks.
