I am enjoying this nearly bugless ROM from long.
Only one question keep annoying me, may be already discussed in past.

Is there any chance to improving camera quality? Recently I noticed that some cheap 8 mp phones are still having better quality than our IncS.
Or any third party camera app can help?

How about camera quality of CM10.1, 10.2 and 11 if any one already tried.

You can try a 3rd party camera app like Camera Zoom FX but you can't expect a whole lot better considering the fact that there's a lot of hardware base too. My Nexus 5, which is also 8MP, shoots pictures that are A LOT better than the Incredible S. It's got Optical Image Stabilization which certainly helps a lot :D

So basically, you're very limited because of the aging hardware on the Incredible S.

Thanks.
Point noted.
But with sense ROMs, camera quality is quite better. So definitely, hardware is much more capable.
Question is, how to get same quality on AOSP ROMs.

You don't.

No you cannot port htc framework over to AOSP.

I am not a software guy or developer. However, from last few posts, can I conclude following?
1. We have got camera hardware sufficient to get better picture quality (reference sense ROMs). So, hardware is not the issue.
2. Since hardware is not the issue, it's issue of software, i.e. kernel or ROM. However, nobody knows way forward or given priority on camera performance.
Am I right in my conclusion?

I have seen that being done in the lg g2 thread so...

On a one man team, I seriously don't think it's worth the time. It's really quite impossible without a lot of support, which as you noticed, isn't quite available now for the Incredible S

Also, can I have a link?

Well Sense cameras are about as good as it gets on this phone. You can't really do much better. AOSP is just horrible. 0 auto focus and you got to be holding the phone pretty still. Perhaps someone who knows what he's doing can try toying with AOSP software and try giving it a go. But like I said, we have just 1 developer left and I don't know if Szeszo will spend time on that. Aside from maintaining multiple ROM's, he's got his own life too.

Just to share,
I tried many camera apps on our device and results looks best with "snap camera hdr"

One can try and confirm my views..nothing wrong giving a shot...:D
I am not connected with app developer and not intended to marketing it....just sharing my observations...

Hi,

I still using these rom, a few weeks ago, I have a little problem, after search on the post and see anyone with the same problem, I want to ask you, if someone when using or taking photos with stock camera, appears a message: "Sorry, but the Galley app, has a forze close" and after that, that camera closes inmendiatly..

In my case, after these error, for continue using the stock camera, I need to reboot the phone. Anyone with something similar?

By the way, I tested using another camera or gallery app, and the problem dont hapends, but my favorite camera app, its stock camera , reason why I ask you about it..

Thanks guys!

My phone is stuck in boot screen for the 2nd time. I flashed the Rom and backed up apps and files (only of the apps and such as wifi settings) with TB.
When I reinstalled Dolphin Browser and restarted the phone it stucked.
So I had to wipe and flash again. I reinstalled also dolphin and after I didn't have any mobile connection I restarted again, with the same problem.

I have installed also the slim version of Gapps you can find here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47966455&postcount=1

2 questions

hi guys. two questions.

1. Does this rom support gsm?
2. If wifi region code is changed form default, say europe, to say Australia, then the phone is rebooted, will it stay in australia, or revert to europe?

3rd question(I know i said 2 question :p ). what is the ram useage on this rom ie: if one is to go to running processes, whats the used and free ram values?

1 - Yes Rom support gsm
2 - I never change Wi-Fi region
3- on this Rom is a lot of free Ram if you don't install too many apps :)

I think Europe is default.
I have ~ 300mb free Ram after reboot, and going down to ~230-250 on normal use

    Doesn't or partially work:

    - ??? ;)

    - Kernel source: https://github.com/szezso/T.E.S.C.O-kernel_vivo

    How to install this:
    - You have to S-OFFed, of course
    - Just download the ROM, wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, wipe boot
    - Install the ROM, and if it's done, install the Gapps
    - If your phone unlocked by HTCDev.com, you may have to flash the boot.img manually:
    Code:
    fastboot flash boot boot.img
So, we have already seen, what's this thing. It's time for the download section!

The ROM doesn't contain the Google Apps, you have to flash it manually:

    Merry Christmas guys! :)

Okay, guys. I wanted to post the fully-working CM9 today (for Christmas gift), but I didn't finish, yet. So, here is a testbuild, Camera, USB Mass Storage and BT aren't working (yet, of course), and the keyboard doesn't fit on the screen in portrait mode. Everything else working, such as Videoplayer, Audio, WiFi, GPS. :) The problems are lib related issues, wll fix it, if I have time. But, my family is coming now, so I have to talk with them...:p
