I am working on a modest update to SuperLite 4.1.2 as time permits ;)
This modest update wouldn't happen to resolve the bluetooth audio issue that appears to be common to all 10.1-based ROMs, would it?

<fingers crossed - it's the only thing that's kept me on CM9>

SuperLite Calendar Sync

Anyone have calendar problems with Google calendar sync on this rom?

Sent from my HTC One using XDA Free mobile app
Your not the only one. It just sits on the sync screen and does nothing.
I duplicated the behavior and MAY HAVE fixed the problem. Behavior that other users have reported may stem from different problems.

First I installed Calendar+Sync from the SuperLite V8 Addons flashable zip linked in my OP: http://www.mediafire.com/?21dn8v8p60di422

Then I entered a Gmail Calendar event on my computer.

Then I did… Settings > Accounts > Google > {[email protected]} > Calendar {sync is OFF} press check and got "syncing now…{Last synced dd/mm/yyyy

But although SuperLite Calendar appeared to sync, it did not show the new event.

So I did this…Calendar > Menu > Settings > {[email protected]} and ensured that the check box to right of {[email protected]} was checked.

Then I deleted the test event on my computer and SuperLite Calendar synced.

Then I entered a second event for a different date and SuperLite Calendar synced again.

Then I entered a third event on SuperLite Calendar, exited and reentered Gmail Calendar on my computer and Gmail Calendar synced.

Then I deleted the third event from Gmail Calendar and SuperLite Calendar synced.

Hope this helps :)

Aha. That was my problem. I guess when I installed the V8 Addons I didn't select the Calendar+Sync. Once I installed that I had no issues syncing. Well that fixes 1 of 3 problems on here so yay! The other two I am sure are app specific there. So just gotta deal with that sadly.

Blue Sleep Fix Flashable Zip [08 Aug 2014]

“Bluesleep” is a wakelock error in the Bluetooth system which prevents Android devices from entering deep sleep, thus shortening battery life in sleep mode. This error also affects wifi.

Wakelock: A kernel mechanism for Android power management. When a thread holds a wakelock, the kernel will refrain from entering a low-power state.
According to various XDA threads, Bluesleep Fix (BSF) greatly improves battery life on CM9 and CM10 ROMs by allowing your device to truly enter deep sleep.

I have tested BSF extensively on SuperLite and have observed much lower battery discharge rate with Atrix in sleep mode: http://forum.xda-developers.com/atrix-4g/development/blue-sleep-fix-off-script-discharge-t2838387 . My Atrix now lasts well over a day on a single charge, though I do have GPS set to OFF --- for more than one reason ;)

The BSF method presented in my OP linked above features a script file that is launched at run time. This method is unconventional and not entirely straightforward. So here I offer a BSF patch for SuperLite in the form of a CWM-flashable zip.

BSF for EMMC (typical install): http://www.mediafire.com/download/bbs9uc9i89m83st/SuperLite_CM10_BSF.zip

Here is the code block in “updater-script”:

Code:
ui_print(" ");
ui_print("  Mounting /system partition...");
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p12", "/system");
ui_print(" ");
ui_print("  Setting permissions for BlueSleep Fix...");
set_perm(0, 0, 04755, "/system/xbin/hciconfig");
set_perm(0, 0, 04755, "/system/xbin/hcidump");
set_perm(0, 0, 04755, "/system/xbin/hcitool");
ui_print("");
ui_print("  Unmounting /system partition...");
unmount("/system");
ui_print("");
ui_print("Done. Reboot and enjoy!");
If you have dual-boot with SuperLite installed on SD card, here is the equivalent zip:

BSF for SD: http://www.mediafire.com/download/q5kge75c2q21ee9/SuperLite_CM10_BSF-SD.zip

The code is exactly the same as above except for a change in the device name (/dev/block/mmcblk1p2) for the /system partition:

Code:
ui_print(" ");
ui_print("  Mounting /system partition...");
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk1p2", "/system");

Hey is it me or can nobody tether via WiFi ibn this ROM? I love it but I can't lose my WiFi tether (been having to comfort with Bluetooth instead)

Can this be fixed or should I upgrade to cm10.1?

Also are there any plans to build a cm10.1 SuperLite?

Thanks in advance.

When rebooting the phone, i get the "preparing SD card , checking for errors" it seems to do this for ages. Almost as three times as more as the previous rom CM7. Its only an 8GB card, so my question is what is it checking? the internal memory AND the SDCARD?

anyway to stop this from happening EVERY time. It has now been "CHECKING" for 20 mins!
Try moving all files from internal storage AND sdcard to your pc, check both for errors and move back the files.

That will "defragment" both disk and hopefully speed things up. Also, check your read ahead parameter, it might be very low. for atrics and a class 4 sd i got awesome speeds setting it to 2048kb

came to this rom after being on MROM CM7 for a year or more, love it. I was hesitant to flash knowing there was a lot in the new kernel that might not be working but after my wifi broke and so many apps not working on CM7, i took the plunge. Glad I did. I love it. Super smooth and everything I need is working. My company has supplied me with a Samsung GS3, which is a bit bigger and I love it too, but I can promise if my wi-fi hadn't stopped functioning I would use my Atrix for everything. I love the size of the phone and the features, like an HDMI out. The only problem I have is the keyboard acts a little laggy sometimes, not sure if its the phone or keyboard app itself. And I dont have the mic button on the keyboard so I can do voice to text. It has the option on the app, but not when the keyboard pops up, I use Handcent for messaging. Keep up the good work!
