I am looking at this for you now mate. Trying Hydra 2b to see if that works.
Edit: Nope, doesn't work on Hydra 2b either. For now you can either use a wifi file manager from the market, or reboot into recover, go to mounts and storage 'mount USB storage'.
That works.
Edit: USB Mass Storage works fine with HydraCore 2.1, included in Asylum CM10 1.0b in OP.

Why don't you try Hydra 2.1? Works for me perfectly.

Might be...same happened to me in CM9 era, can't recall exact details...I was forced to use some UMS app until full wipe.
Is there a way to choose usb mass storage or MTP then?
Do you feel the volume levels are better in aokp than cm? Currently on aaokp...

I will probably be slayed for asking this but can I instal this straight over asylum aokp without full wipe, its eating my data all these full wipes

What's the issue...market restores the apps immediately, launcher settings can be backed up, app2zip is a wonderful thing to try.
Yes, you can install it over AOKP. Nothing will get harmed. Tops - clean install, if something goes wrong

This isn't built from any previews. There is a CM source tree from which both developers have built a ROM and thereafter modified it to their liking.
As an alternative, try asking on the CM10 thread -
"Which build of Asylum CM10 is preview 5 based on?"

I think what people is asking is the memory leak present in this rom. I don't understand why someone won't just answer the question instead of getting annoyed with people.

I don't think, that memory leak has been resolved globaly.
CM solution - long press on "back" to kill app.
AOKP - auto task killer.
When not doing this, memory, about ~400mb at boot (depends on your startup), goes to about 100 in an hour. Though phone is not slowing down or stuck. Call it "solved", if you like
