i was kinda hoping the fully compiled edition would outperform this lesser good port, which only works partly.
but if i find more hours to invest in this, ill dig some more on testing audio issues with calls. i did experiment and did get microphone working for seconds, but shortly closed mic, which seemed to be because of noise, and i never got further on this and those testing results are long gone as i use it daily for my job now.

when I bought NOTE2 I thought that CM10 from SGS3 will be pretty much same as for note2 (exynos)
and for now (microphone voice calls - most important funcion doesnt work till now)
it seems to be so easy but it isnt as we see ....

i got no proper environment for complete build setup, only kernels for now. so that leaves out my options to compile from scratch.

i am sure many Note2 owners will appreciate this fix.

I am giving my note 2 to wifey and taking back the galaxy nexus. This phone without stock is unbearable... I wish you luck mate, cause i am very close to selling this and buying the nexus 4. I have given myself the deadline of nexus 4launch date + 1week

confirmed - working patch for enabling MIC over phonecalls

the patch supplied is working. phonecalls are fine now.

so we just need the camera changes in place here and this rom is doing great

thanks to imilka for helping out and solving the MIC issue with calls using internal MIC

reconsider buying ANYTHING with a LG brand on it or behind development, they will protect it , put security patches on top and try everything to make sure you do not hack the mobile at all. they even go as far as making it possible to brick if you change binaries, so regular users will need service from the shop.

LG is no good party to go to, you should avoid their release at any cost.
I have(had) o4x and the camera was bad and blurry, the mobile quality was acceptable (at least) but for xda modding and development all their security and DRM checking it was a lousy development platform for android. their go for closed source even before its selling.

Just read the posts in Optimus 4X HD section, and you see how made and you notice how silent that section have been.

- dont know about 64GB incompatibilities
- the driver can probably be better if used from original stock build.

i will see if i can prep a new build, but for now use the patch on top of the existing 1008-2 release and its all fine, i tested this and it works perfectly.

if we do not see the other build release within days, i believe ill give the camera changes a go. so we can have camera support as well.
