First you need to install custom recovery. You have two recoveries for a250, cwm and twrp. Install anyone and then flash ROM.

v0.19 has been running on my 16GB for about a good week now. I haven't been using it daily yet. The battery life is amazing compared to what it was before, i left it off the charger for a good day (without use) and it didn't touch the battery.

I was waiting for maybe another release before running this on my 32GB BLOx.

Guess not now...

CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware for a number of cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors.

What works:

- SIM1 for phone calls (incoming/outgoing) and SMS, data (2g, 3g)
- SIM2 is a WIP
- Audio (microphone - now also outside phone calls, loudspeaker, headphones)
- Sensors
- Wifi (not wifi direct)
- GPS (no A-GPS yet nor EPO assist files, so the fix can take a bit)
- hw composer
- wifi and usb tethering
- battery usage stats (expect the usage for Display to be very unprecise)
- candy crush, facebook and twitter

What doesn't work, known bugs:

- 2nd sim card 3G switch, Dual SIM is a WIP, not fully there yet
- re-enable after flightmode broken
- camera does not work ( Will be fixed soon )
- (hw) video en/decoding not enabled
- bluetooth not available
- FM radio not available
- A-GPS does not work, GPS works though but slowish

INSTRUCTIONS:

Place the zip files in sdcard.
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data/factory reset.
Wipe dalvik Cache.
Install cm11.zip and gapps.
Reboot!

Imei problem

I have a backedup copy of my imei number which can be restored via mobileuncle......my imei number was lost when i flashed explay dream stock rom...
the backup works out perfectly for every other rom...but when i flash this cyanogen...i am not able to restore it back....it always shows empty folder even though the backup is on the sd card....
what do i do....is thr any way i can restore imei permanently....i tried to use sn writer in every way possible but it always shows driver problem...

as i wrote...i already tried using sn writer but the cdc device driver won't install....it always shows problem encountered when installing via device manager...

great ..thanks it worked out perfectly....but still it ain't a permanent solution...
anyways the reason i was getting error restoring it via mobileuncle is that my storage is showing completely empty when i open it via es explorer but works fine on other explorers....also the storage is not getting formatted...
thanks though coz i wanted to try cyanogen for a long time...
