Is there a working install for gapps available for the current release? I have tried every release and yet can not find a version that works.

Flash the GSM N8000 with a Wifi-only Rom?

Hello. While I was using the official CM10 nightly, the battery lasted until half a month while sleep, but now, with CM12, gets 100 to 0 in 3 days. The top problem is "Cell Standby". Then, I saw the top wakelock (using BBS) is boot_hsic, and prevents my tablet go to deep sleep. I tried for now in disabling the wakelock, change another ROM, but no success for a week. Maybe the error is by hardware, kernel, imei (Have null/null), or simply need a SIM card.

Is it posible to flash the Wifi version ROM in N8000, in order to disable the Phone capacity?

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.
It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

This is a preview build, do not install it if you want a stable ROM.

  • Rom is in beta state so many bugs are to be expected!

  • I don't own N8000 device, so all RIL is untested, some may find it works, other may find it does not.

I have used cm12 on my galaxy grand duos. On it, i was not able to use root access, nor supersu would work. Is that bug fixed in this or not ? will i be able to use apps such as game-killer etc ? (i use them on my current note 10.1 4.1.2 version).
Even my friend has note 2 with cm12 and he also has the same issue. Please reply as soon as possible !

Do you have to unlock the bootloader of your tab to flash the rom? If yes, then please send me the link to unlock the bootloader. Also, should I flash the rom using twrp or cwm?

    FAQ:
    • Keyboard does not work: enable hardware keyboard in settings.
    • Google chrome got graphics glitches: just disable #enable-gpu-rasterization in chrome://flags
    • If you don't want to see cursor while using S-Pen, you can disable it it in settings / inputs
    • If you have trouble with video playback you can try to disable NuPlayer in developer settings

    KNOWN BUGS:
    • SELinux disabled
    • Enabled NON PIE executable to be executed (needed for GPS)

    Just uploaded new build for n8013, n8000 is building and will be uploaded later.
    Check 2nd post for changelog.

    Also some informations:
    - I don't own n8000, so I can not debug / fix RIL problem easily, you are welcome to assist me and propose some patch if you got some problems.
    - About cursor problem, no, it has not been removed, the proprietary hardware composer does not play good with it, and thus is not displayed. I've been digging this problem the last few days and only solution I see is moving back to open source hwcomposer if we can get it working with new kernel but we would loose benefits of the proprietary hwcomposer.
