Another thing I've noticed is that sometimes the home button doesn't work. Like I may have to press the home button multiple times before it actually works. Same thing with the menu capacitive button which I've remapped as recent apps. Sometimes even if I press it, it just doesn't work. Not sure if it's just me. I came from a clean flash, data wipe etc.

actually on beta7 following is what happens with me
When I have any app running in foreground then long pressing home button vibrates the phone but don't go to recent apps view. Then if I press home button nothing happens, pressing home button again will take me to home screen. And then if I long press home button it will show u recent apps view and when I press back button in recent apps view it takes me to the app most recently accessed.

But these seems to be CM bugs rather than bauner's ROM particularly.

Both low voltages and low clockspeeds can cause exactly the kinds of issues people have had here. Not every single SoC is exactly the same, with some of them underclocking more than others and some overclocking more than others, just like desktop CPUs. I don't know for certain if that is the issue here, but it certainly could be.

I'm not to sure that running at 100 would be a problem. But when u underclock, u also look to reduce the voltage. And as u say not all SOC r equal, so while not knowing what bauner has implemented, he may have dropped the voltage as well & for some this maybe too aggressive.

Maybe the need for multiple kernels like with kitkat at some point.

My note was purchased about 1 year after release so the SOC maybe more mature.

@bauner will u be able to do 5.1? Causally looking at the limited information about it, it seems to largely be bug fixes, so a lot of the remaining problems may just evaporate.

I´m having some Battery issue´s while listening to musik.

after listening to some musik for 40 minutes i lose like 30-40%battery,this forced me to use airplane mode quite often....

But the rom Seems pretty stable only reboot i had was while surfing on tumblr(in browser) with a lot of pictures and Gif´s.


By the way did you increase the Voltage of the Cpu?


I´m gonna give the raw kernel a shot now until the next beta.

The cpu voltage is
0.05 increased @1400mhz
and @100Mhz it is 0.025 lower as on 200mhz

the camera quality is not as high as it used to be in the Samsung's stock rom.
is there any solution to improve the quality of camera?

you can try google camera from playstore. but only for pictures and not for video in beta7

Can anybody please let me know why i'm not getting those oversaturated colours in Kitkat or Lolipop Custom ROM's.
The same effect can be seen while playing videos also. Earlier they used to play with all those oversaturated colours. Now the intensity has just reduced.

In case to revive them, what to do.

cause in every rom you have option to change display to dynamic mode in display-advanced display or display ui . that is not available in this rom as this rom is still in development stage .

bluetooth still not working properly with headphones

camera zoom fx working great on beta 7
video working with no problem on hd 1080p

I do not have any problems with beta 7 besides bluetooth.

Just tried using the original Samsung Car Dock today, and while it charges, and triggers car mode when the USB is plugged in, the sound isn't routed through the line-out and instead plays through the phone speakers. Anyone have suggestions how to get the line-out working? I'd probably try using a bluetooth receiver but that'll mean plugging another thing into the car and remembering to charge it lol. (and bluetooth isn't working in beta 7?)

I'm aware there's an option to DISABLE the USB audio out in the dev menu but that's the opposite of what I need

Thanks Devs for this rom. This rom runs smooth and have high performance. The only problem thats currently bothering is that my device is getting overheated. And the battery drains rapidly. I've tried battery callibration, Fully charged and let it discharge for a couple of times, but it's not seem to helping me. Any solution ? I can't even hold my phone in my hand due to the overheating. Plz Help

After flashing the ROM, flash the Raw Kernel v9 CM12. The heating will eventually decrease.

Which kernel are you prefering to?

If its the N7000 Raw Kernel then http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397000
If its the CM12 Stock Kernel then read the First Page.

For the N7000 Raw Kernel scroll down abit and find Download section and click on Raw Kernel for CM12, Download it, Flash it and Enjoy!

I had same problem. I resolved completely with a really clean installation


Factory reset
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik
Format system, cache, sdcard0
Flash ROM
Flash gapps
Flash fix keyboard
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik

Reboot

I will provide updates after I had some time to work on the rom, and if there are not only minor changes.

You asked for feedback, so I'll mention that I have been using the Raw-kernel all this time and it defaults to 200Mhz minimum speed. I have not had a single unexpected reboot or phone powering off by itself. Might be worth increasing the default on your kernel, just to be safe, no?

For the random reboots for some users you can try to set the cpu min from 100 to 200mhz.
If that will not work you can try to use forest or raw kernel.
And please give me some feedback if this will solve your reboots

I tried with increasing the CPU min, same thing. So, turned off. When I turn it on again, phone boot up normally and before he finished ejects notice "turn off" by itself. Would be OK after erasing cache/Dalvik. I will try with another kernel.

That is the best solution. Another, less informative way would be to go to developer options and enable it

Just installed this rom and it feels smooth and altogether great! The only problem is battery discharging even when the phone is in the charger. It doesn't overheat that much, but the battery discharges itself. Anyone else had this problem and came up with a solution? Flashed raw kernel suggested in one of earlier comments.
