I don't have any other issues with taking pics or videos, only this buzzing sound

I too have this problem while using camera app for long duration(usually while using snapchat). I think its probably because of heating issues or the app i.e. the camera is on for longer duration say more than 7-10 mins continuously. I also encountered that the part just below my camera gets heated as iron. and the camera goes blurr. I usually shut down the camera using app. This helps me to reduce the phone temperature and after few mins or after i reboot the device use it again. In my extreme case where the camera was on for 15-20mins while I was using snapchat , the phone heated so much that the phone automatically restarted itself.

@bauner when I'm out of town taking pictures where i usually get time to charge phone in morning or just night. Sometimes the phone heats up so bad that it restarts itself and suddenly there is battery drain about 10-20% at that one restart. Then i have to shut down my data first. If still the problem persist then i put my phone in airplane mode for an hour or so. And idk why when I'm using default music player+data on my battery drain is too quick. Any solution?

Hi bauner! Will you implement it on cm12.1? i noticed that only roms (cm, aosp and tw) up to 4.1.2 works.. None of them before that will work with the games that i mentioned

Do you use the default kernel?
You could install "cpu temperature" and monitor the max cpu temperature

Hi @bauner reviewing the known issues for the last version it says that flashlight doesn't work with screen off, but it works for me with default flashlight I've no installed another torch software.

Bluetooth works flawless too in the last version.

a few months ago there was a nightowl version of lollipop which had problems with freezing (especially when typing on keyboard). But you fixed the problem obviously.
A friend of me owns a Galaxy s2 which has similar problems since he flashed cm12.1 on it.

My suspicion is that there is an issue in the cm12.1 code which you fixed in your nightowl version. Can you remember how you fixed it? Maybe there is a solution for my friend and his Galaxy s2 too.

I can't remember exactly to a keyboard related freeze problem but the smdk4412 kernel which I used in older versions was causing random freezings and reboots without showing usefull reasons in the log

Anyone encountering difficulty installing GLTools via recovery? It turns off at the Galaxy Note text after flashing every time. The only solution was to reflash rom

Edit: I've test now with a 15s screen timeout it power off after 5s, but works if you sleep the phone manually pressing the power button, in that case the flashlight never power off.

Edit 2: I can't believe now the flashlight power off with manual suspend!! Yesterday it works!

First you can try a complete clean install again to ensure that nothing other will cause it.
But qith 19s wakelock it looks like an battery problem

About those games, I think there is no need to add that commit, Plant vs Zombie is working properly on NightOwl, it just doesn't work on Samsung Stock based roms, but luckily this isn't TW at all

Did it, didn't work. Most likely a battery problem then. I did notice the screen goes flickery when charging with the phone hot, and it gets hot fast doing anything. Plus the capacitive buttons grow dim as the battery decreases.

My friend takes good care of the phone but rekts the battery in the process >.>

Did anyone manage to get Car App (Dashboard) work with this rom? No matter what app I try I cant get the home button to work. It always brings me back to Nova Launcher and not my car dashboard app.

With a huge red warning that the use is completely under the user's responsibility, and it is necessary to make sure that this is allowed in a particular country / state. Let's say in Russia, you can record the conversation even without an explicit warning if you participate in it himself. And this function is rescued from dishonest customers and employees. Without it there is no sense to experiment with other firmwares, including yours, and you have to think about replacing the machine on the other, where it is running 5.1.1 without problems initially. Hi Bauner, the phone does get warm after playing some game for around 5 mins (the only one I have is Lumosity). And I observed that when the phone is cool, the buzzing sound while using the camera is not there. But it is there when the phone gets warm. It is not that the phone is very uncomfortable to hold, however you can feel that it is now little hot.

You could enable call recording with an xposed module.

But only recording from mic is supported.
I have not tested it but I think also with the stock rom there is no 2 way call record possible

Can you please install "cpu temperature", let it monitor in the background and then tell me the highest temperature
