Hi, I have a problem as described (don't think it's rom related, but...):

Been using nightowl since beginning and never had (m)any troubles. Yesterday my battery ran out of juice, not a problem since I have 2 and just put the other one in. However, when I put battery in, GT N7000 logo just hangs forever... So I try recovery, and teamwin logo comes up but hangs for a few minutes, then tries to reboot I guess and GT N7000 reappears forever.
I'm not massively over fussed about whats happened, only how to get it up and running again (reflash with power - volume down - home?)

I don't know what exactly happened...
You can try to boot into download moder and do
1.flash PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT6-XSA-5.06.1.tar.md5 (http://d-h.st/OTu) to get cwm recovery by using odin or mobile odin (To download click the blue Download now button)
2. boot into recovery
3. flash the kernel from your current rom
4. reboot

If this will not make the rom bootable then boot again into recovery and
1 format /system
2 flash rom + gapps
3 reboot

If this will also not help boot again in the recovery and do a factory reset

This is what I am trying now... ODIN sees phone and communicates, but it appears not to flash it (properly). First time the box in ODIN went blue. But now when trying it just hangs at
Code:
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
Something at some point has communicated on phone though, in download mode it reads:

Code:
custom binary download: yes 3
I'm even trying to repartition with pit aswell but it is just not playing ball...

I think I saw someone else with this problem half way through this thread, I shall see if they resolved if I can find it. :(

--

Sorry, to answer second point, I cannot enter recovery at all

--

OK, I don't know how, but got into team win recovery (which means nothing actually got flashed previously?)
Was going to wipe cache, but am faced with a barrage of red 'cannot mount' - 'block device not prsent' and more...

I never had a sod in the last months.
If you have sod problems you should first try to disable the powernap xposed module.
If this will not help you should try if a clean install will fix it.
Found it thanks, had to give Cyanogen Settings whitelist settings from the module.

This comes because something on your partition table/partitions is messed up because of flashing the pit.
You can try to format all internal partitions in the recovery and flash the rom +gapps.

If this will not help you should try the complete repartition guide from the first post to ensure that all partitions gets correctly created and formatted

If a flash process was not successfull you need to restart your phone into download mode before it can flash again

It's a rom issue. I enabled softkeys in build.prop and they seem to disappear in landscape for any app

Sorry sir.. It's not intentionally to be you.. I was just reminded myself and to other's .

For so long I'm running custom ROM on this ancient phablet, I've never stuck to one ROM but to this one provided here..for me the most stable ROM as my daily driver, even compared to my old fav the Slimroms which I've used for more than a year. My salute to the developer.

As such, need no to attack the ROM when something bad happen to our old phone but just to ourselves for not intentionally following the guidelines given on the OP.

Cheers yeah.. Peace !

@nshahril
Hi , have you installed Bauner's ROM on your Note LTE ?
Do you think , Note LTE , works in France ?
Sorry for my english
THANKS !!!
Stéphane
I'm sorry but that LTE Note is not from Samsung... It's Xiaomi / Hongmi Note 4G LTE from Mi from China manufacturer.

I just wish @bauner can ported that too into his legendary NightOwl.. Lol!

FYI, I'm replying this on the 3G version of Redmi Note, my other phone.

Cheers mate!
