Excellent news !
Thanks for all the work.

Looking forward to have GPS. I'll be traveling to germany in January and GPS would be great.

... and yesterday I thought it was a s*h*i*t*t*y day ... now it's even worse :(

Today I have tried to repartition my n7000 to get 8G data partition
I used Odin 3.06 and a PIT file giving 8G to the data partition and shrinking both system and preload.
As a PDA I chose the last Philz touch recovery 6.48.4
I got an error in Odin (probably while repartitioning) and now I have the phone booting in the old recovery (@GeckoDev's TWRP of some pages earlier) but it seems that both data and system and preload are not there.
In your opinion, have I bricked my n7000 or shuld I format the partitions as ext3/4 in some way (e.g. from TWRP terminal)?

Please, a little help would be appreciated

Try wiping those partitions from twrp.

In TWRP I can correctly mount:
- EFS
- Cache
- System
- Data
but I could not mount Internal Storage
I have used Advanced wipe to fix/repair Internal Storage and now I can mount
- emmc (a 5.4 GB ext4 partition at /dev/block/mmcblk0p11)

<fingers crossed>
let see if it boots now
</fingers crossed>
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT: (thanks to all answering my cry for help :) )
I have been able to
- reformat it with the 8G data partition PIT (Odin)
- install an old CWM (by odin)
- flash @GeckoDev's raw kernel with TWRP (by CWM)
- format data as ext4 (by TWRP)
- flash alpha 7.1 and @GeckoDev raw kernel 7
Then waited half a day for the CyanogenMod spinning arrow to finish ....
Then I reverted to @chasmodo's DirtyUnicorns 8.1 and it works fine

Now I have reformatted data as exfat and trying again alpha 7.1 ... the arrow is spinning ...

anywhere
then if I want to replace this rom what to do? what I have to change to a standard rom using odin first to get a recovery?
Hi, @brandalz

on behalf of bauner and TouchLeClouds, :)
we've already discuss on issue on how to go back to kitkat and such, ;)

I really think that you should do a bit of reading before pointing question everywhere, no offence, :(
# Option One,
here's the manual created earlier by @TouchLeclouds, on how to "regain access" to recovery and change to your fav custom rom, :silly:
1. Download the kernel/recovery
2. Flash using Odin v1.85, put under PDA, :silly:
3. Go into recovery and flash forest/bauner kernel. :silly:
3. Reboot into recovery and restore/flash your old custom rom. :victory:

# Option Two, :silly:
download original samsung version of our N7000, :p
1. Download it here, search for n7000 ;)
2. Put into odin v1.85, and reboot into recovery wipe everything, :silly:
3. Reboot. :victory:

I'm sure (and assumed), you're experience about all of this, as it already been mention here by my friend @tysonraylee, :highfive::victory:

thanks to them, we manage to get through, :victory: :victory: :victory:
