Using raw kernel. Getting good battery life. Miscellaneous takes about 40-45% battery ,but still Getting 3-3.5 hrs screen on time with WiFi always on. Disable 'scanning always available' and 'network notification' in WiFi >advanced .
Also disable G+ if you don't use it.

I nave partitioned my n7000 internal memory with 8 GB data and no internal vfat partition
Alpha 7.1 does not complete its boot, remaining looping
Do you think this happens because of the missing internal vfat partition?
I had to revert to an earlier DirtyUnicorn, which gracefully degrades by mounting my external SD as if it were my internal

Do you think next version of Nightowl could handle this setup and complete its boot or should I fix the fstab before the first boot?

you need an vfat partition on /dev/block/mmcblk0p11 for internal storage.
without this partition my rom will not boot

Bauner that the SDCard0 format should I use? Is that in the experimental only worked with me vfat, is sure not mistaken and be able to better real assessment about your great work.

Very fast, no problem's salved:

- No changed company of telephone, it's error
- The virtual keyboard is not activated only start Rom, I jump around and already in Settings/Introduction of Text/Selecting to use (AOSP or google) above the button to activate it looks, although it may be only in Spanish, no is whether the other languages will suffer.

Rom installed this way:

- Since CWM Recovery Kit-Kat a Rom I put for Friday able to use mobile
- Wipe data, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache
- Follow the format's & mount's: system, data, cache & SDCard0 (in vfat just in case, in alpha v7.1 error's in default, ext2, ext3, ext4 & exfat, only not tester ntfs - not tester in the Beta1, only test of vfat)
- Install Nightowl Rom BETA1
- Slim GAPPS 5.x.434 Normal
- And SuperSU 2.35
Starts Rom, and start in 5 minutes and I installed all my apps from Play Google in about 20 minutes (I've done for the wifi, do not get me already GB's in the rate of mobile, I load in 10 days 2,2 GB's, lol), I've adjusted to my liking, and now it prove more depth.

Native 1080p video tested: works perfectly. In video players tested, 100% correct playing

I have managed to format p11 (emmc) as exfat and p12 (preload) as ext2 but beta 1 does not boot (the boot animation stops and all stays black)

The recovery in beta1 works fine (I used it to revert to DU 8.1) but I was not able to format preload. It complains about a security context

can you give me the installations step?
i tried some times but it didn't work
i was from slim saber 4.4.4,and i already used the cwm for this rom (CWM 6)
even i formatted the internal storage using vfat...but my phone only stuck at "samsung galaxy note n7000"
and it didn't go anywhere

why dont repair the Sdcard0 mount to the original link ( like in KK or older (in storage/sdcard0 only) without using the 0 folder)? so it'll be easy to manage the file even if we come from KK or older ROM ( I mean it didnt have to be moved to 0 folder) and the storage in setting will show the real internal space, not just what in the 0 folder

EDIT : oh yes, I almost forgot, does installing apk from old sdcard0 still have package parsing error?
