Hi, lirokoa!
This is small feedback about CM 12.1 on my N8000.
  • System Settings app crash when I go in "Notification drawer" -> "Select and order tiles". Clicking add button and scrolling through the list causes problems.
  • Copy-past markers are too small.
  • The buttons in Calculator are intersected. For example, I'm clicking on cosine, but getting the percents.
  • Music app has a lot of bugs. Half of my music on SD card doesn't play, it constantly skips to next song. On VLC all good.
  • AudioFX equalizer doesn't work with any app except Music.
  • The volume level in the headphones is very low.
I hope that my opinion will be approved. Thanks for your work!

All those bugs should be reported to CM if they are not already corrected except volume level that is device specific.

Hello there! I have a n8010 tablet and I watch movies and surfing the internet with it! I want to use cm12.1! Is it stable enough by now for daily use(I mean does it have any lag)? The most hard-core game on my tablet is clash of clans so I am not a heavy gamer. One last thing! Is GPS working on this ROM? Cause GPS is really important for me!

GT-N8000 No SIM Error

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you have an GT-N8000 you might run into a problem were the tablet cannot find the SIM. After many hours of tinkering I have discovered this has nothing to do with CM12.1

There is something wrong with TWRP and CWM.

In order to get the 3G to work I had to flash back to stock. The soon as I loaded TWRP or CWM with stock the SIM error appeared. The only way I was able to get it back was to flash stock again, as it seems to repartition and load radio images etc.

As someone earlier reported I then flashed TWRP 2.6.3.1 and let stock boot, everything worked. I then rebooted wiped everything from TWRP and installed CM12.1, this time everything worked great. The tab is up and running and everything seems fine. I don't use my tab for much but all my apps work, gps works, wifi and 3g work. Battery life seems normal as well. Thank you for all the hard work.

Did you try unofficial twrp provided in download section? Or official one?

I fixed it...after two months of searching this was the solution..i flashed via odin the modem and everything works fine...thanks for your help!

I'm not sure I'll rebuild cm-12.1, I would need to downgrade my device to test.
For cm-13.0, i'm working on selinux rules to be able to release with enforcing.
N8000 will probably be hard to get RIL working and will need more time and testers.
Also even if cm-13.0 is working nicely, many features/settings are still incomplete or broken.
Anyway stay tuned :)

Any News or Updates here Buddy

I just finished flashing the 20151027 build on my N8013 from the latest stock (4.x?) with the provided TWRP and mini open gapps. Booting up fine, but I can't seem to connect to my wifi now. I can see the ssid fine, but after I click connect, it just instantly goes back to "Saved" state. Is anyone else having this issue? Am I supposed to flash anything else (e.g. radio)?

Edit: only flashing the rom doesn't change anything, still cannot connect to my wifi

Edit 2: after waiting for a couple of tries, it now says "WiFi connection failure"

Edit 3: trying out other cm 12.1-based custom rom, also cannot connect to wifi. Even cm 11, same situation. Any help would be appreciated

Edit 4: oddly enough I cannot connect to 2.4 ghz but it turns out 5 ghz works

This weekend I installed this ROM on my N8013 and so far I like what I see. It seems good and stable so far. Two questions though:
- On the Notifications pull-down (or maybe the screen when you do a second pull-down - with the quick switch tiles), there is a weather status thingy. Is there any way to make it report in Celsius rather than Fahrenheit?
- When I try to change the tiles on that same screen, it just crashes. I saw someone else on this thread report that, but I don't recall anything about how to fix it.

Thanks much.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.0, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    STATUS: BETA
This is a preview build, do not install it if you want a stable ROM.

    • This is a preview of what is going down on CM12.1
    • Rom is in beta state so many bugs are to be expected!
    • All the source code is available on my Github.
    • I do this on my free time and unfortunately I don't have much.
    • Any help is a appreciated!
    • I don't own N8000 device, so all RIL is untested, some may find it works, other may find it does not.

New build is up for n801x, as usual n8000 will follow.
Check 2nd post for change log.

    Some informations about cm-13.0:
    - cm-13.0 source code is still not really "clean"
    - I already prepared build env and merged some of the patch needed to make our device work on it
    - I have no idea when it will be ready, if it ever be, but i'll try to make it
