I don't think so. As long as you have TWRP, you can change your ROM. But to upgrade to lineage you have to clean flash it via TWRP.

If you are not worried about data..please do this to recover your device..

1. Use Chinese MiSuite
2. I think your device must have stock MIUI recovery now (Phone symbol)
3. Use vol+ and power to boot into stock recovery
4. Connect phone and start MI Chinese suite
5. Download the latest global stable for our device e.g. 7.3.7.0 zip from miui forums
6. In Mi Suite, select the lower icon (like a circle), select the zip file from your system go ahead. It will flash the full stable ROM

Hello! I have a problem with my Xiaomi: almost all custom firmware not available LTE. In MIUI everything works perfectly.

If I install this firmware, the LTE only works on the first version (13.0-2016\06\24), if I install a different version (for example 2016\07\05) LTE disappears. The same thing I see on 7 android

I must say:
1. Network coverage excellent
2. SIM card with no problem, tried different (MTS, MegaFon, Yota, Beeline)
3. The SIM card is in the second slot (first slot have the same problem)

I tried different modems, but it doesnt solve my problem

My firmware (7.1.12) is consuming more battery than the firmware given by cyanogenmod 13 in its official post, the problem is that in the firmware of cm 13 has connection problems and speed, someone knows of some firmware (6 .. ..) that does not consume battery. Generally when I use a firmware or another, difference is that only android system consumes me battery and when I use 7.1.12 it consumes a 2, 3% battery cyanogenmod system, i clarify that I am in the RR RR 5.7.4 THANKS

Unlock ur bootloader and use one of nougat roms or lineage os13 by gismo
