to Fuzz or Squadzone: can You tell me, where can I find the file, what is responsible for weather?
I mean, is there any redirection file, what says to system, what drawable must show?
For example, when the weather is clear, then show weather_32, when it's snowing, then weather_13, etc...
I just want to identify the drawables. :)

weather uses Yahoo API returns current weather that should be defined in frameworks/base/core/core/res/values/string.xml

Does this rom support a sd-ext? Its really important for me since I want to try my mod of INT2EXTv2.
I personally dont think so, because the stock kernel does not support a sd-ext? :)
Great rom btw ;)

Or do you know a rom which supports a sd-ext for sure?

I thought the only pre-req for int2ext type of script was to be init.d compatible ;) and yes, this one definitely is.
It can (setting in menu) mount the sd-ext partition at boot.

Hehe no, the device has to be able to mount the sd-ext, and init.d support, too.
Quarx CM10 does not mount the sd-ext, although he has 05mountsd in the init.d folder which should mount the sd-ext.
But I will try this Rom now.
Thank you for your answer ;)

well, as long as you have init.d possibility, you can mount *anything* at boot (if you have the proper fs driver). 2nd partition of the sd-card is not an exception :)
just look at link2sd.. it creates its own mount script (/etc/init.d/11mountsd), even croniccorey's scripts (which I suppose are base to your port) do the mounting of /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 themselves. It should work with this ROM just fine.

I just installed this rom. Facing an issue with Gmail/Maps. Unable to install them and Play store says they are not compatible. Any help here?

EDIT: Fixed it once I cleared Market Data.

@2Pints

You need to format Cache and Data with EXT3 from Boot Menu. If you can access and format them it should work.

@All

I noticed Mute function is not actually placing the call on Mute. With Mute ON the other party is still able to hear me. Any suggestions here?

the easiest thing to do when coming from a CM10 type ROM is to wipe data/cache in the stock recovery. No need to format anything :)

I never tried it and learnt one more thing today :)

BTW could u test if Mute is working for you? I am on Defy+ Build.

I wiped data/dalvik/cache and it doesnt boot - just stuck ( still stuck ) on the motorola logo

The options in recovery/tools are as follows:

Android bootmenu v1.3.0

don't forget to stop the share after use !

# tools -->

[ADB Daemon]

[share SD card]
[share drivers]
[share system]
[share data]
[share MMC - Dangerous!]
[stop USB share]

--Go back

Edit - finaly got it to boot - (boot animation with sound made me jump a bit)

heres how:
from CM10 recovery - wipe dalvik, data ( factory re-set) and cache
go to tools ion the recovery from cm10 and ext3 format

the only issue im having at the moment is getting rid of the on screen navigation buttons that are repeated by the defys hardware buttons.

which one will format to ext3?

i also use defy+ version on my bayer defy
but battery display not working properly
(it is jump from 60 to 49, 30 to 19, with jb battery fix)
and i have not noticed any advantages

so maybe i go back with normal defy(525) ROM
(but i do not know, how can i go back?
i must format data and cache to ext3, OR i must install other kernel, before start? )

That's not rom related.......I have exactly the same drops......battery has gone bad......lived it's life. Change the battery and everything will be back to normal.

In case want to get to defy version, do wipe, flash the froyo kernel, then the defy rom as usual....
