when i call someone, the display is off or sometimes locked.
is there a way to avoid this?

raise your lowest cpu freq. higher...or make in-call profile in setcpu with min. 500mhz on lower cpu freq. .....

@ kyrillos gps never locks in cm7. It used to work perfectly in your froyo rom.
How can I fix this?

hi guys i am currently using kyrillos 10.6, and now something missing in msg app....not ly kyrillos, but also other cm7 roms. which is i cant insert contact in send field,....in froyo there is an option to add multiple contacts in send field{{{msg app}}}, but now that is missing, i need to write everyone's name in that box...should i change any settings, or any other msg app....if yes suggest a lite one

Switch over to "Handcent SMS"....

It has got batch mode thru wich u can select individual contacts or all of dem at a tym, while sending a msg, thus eliminating the need of typing in names of every person in the send field..

Hm.. My answer is as informative as your question... Maybe you will give us more details that we can help you? E.g. how often, state of phone when call is missed, how good is data connection, log, etc.

i used that, but its slower than stock msg app....i need a lite one

Hi All,
Currently I am using GingerDX Rom and surprisingly see my bluetooth turning on every time I play FM Radio. I never noticed such a thing before. Then I searched a bit and found in CM7 ROMs it is quite common as both are using same chip or something like that. My question is if this is obvious then how come this ROM does hide this issue? Not only this ROM, to be fair, I never faced this on any G3 ROMs based on CM7. Just curious!!

Even after turning on bluetooth...fm radio fails to function!
So its a bug.

To answer your question:
Our SOC has a dedicated fm radio chip so it is not dependent on bluetooth in any way!
Kyrillos 10.x is based on marcellusbe's cm7 which uses this.

Many qualcomm soc require bluetooth for fm.

Also I have just moved from 9.6 to 10.6 and now it says that pulse news isnt compatible with my phone anymore.

Try holo launcher or latest edition of adw launcher.

Try installing the apk of pulse from sdcard instead of downloading it from playstore. CM does have some compatibility issues.
