[ROM][CM7.2][DISCONTINUED] Kyrillos' ROM v10.6 **Fast n' Lite**

Hi all, i am not sure if it's the right topic to ask, but i am sure someone will give me directions if i am in a wrong place. Here's my problem -

I flashed v10 beta the other day and it seemed fine at the begining but then i had some real bad experience - phone started to freeze randomly. Somone here advised me to flash new kernel (form cm7a7 alpha thread) and i did, but no improvement.
i tried factory reset/clear cache, but with no effect. I was using launcher pro btw.

what i did is flashed the phone again with v10 beta and same kernel mentioned above (this morning) and now using adw launcher, and phone works like a clock.

Now, i can leave it like this, but this is really buggin me now, and i would like the posibility to use laucherpro somtime in the future.

Is there somehing i am missing here or doing wrong?

Any houghts are welcome

nah man, this stuff just randomly happens due to bad flash or something. imprtant thing is that you dont get freeze anymore

try to flash the 800hz kernel from cm7 thread
worked for me fine
set the clock 83-667hz with conservative governor


can someone upload mms.apk of this rom?
it takes 1 min!just pull it out of system/apps and upload

I Just wake up and i'm late to work - powerded by my phone - he freeze and alarm don't turn on.

I go sleep eta 00:00 with 80% battery. Wake up 7:30 with phone down and ... 20 % battery.

Sadly is time to go back @ froyo

Morning Kyrillos!

After a little trouble with my ext4 partition and S2E (first S2E didn't work, than restart after every installed app) the rom works great and ultra fast! Thank you!! And thanks to lebidou, I even can watch videos now!

Do you include in your Beta2 the new Swype with Dragon dictation? I tried it in CM7 alpha7 and it is awesome! When I deleted the old Swype and installed the new Swype version it force closed

No, it's not deodexed and no, it isn't too wise to use that patch.

Why?

Because it will bring back all applications Kyrillos removed and probably remove the ones he added.

I got the same problem. It's the partition. I repartitoned in cwm again and everything works perfect. Look out, your sd card will be erased. Backup your data.

I know this would sound like a noob, but can someone, please, send me / attach ClockPackage.apk and .odex files? I want the clock back but 1) TB cannot restore (it restoresa and restores and restores... so I killed TB), 2) moving the apk from TB's backup to system/app doesn't make it (error: "Application not installed"), 3) I found SGS2 .odex files but that didn't work either, 4) tried mounting factoryfs.rfs and copying those files to sdcard but I cannot mount that on windows MagicISO/UltraISO (I don't have Linux and those applications say they can't read that file)...
Or is there another way I can restore the clock without flashing? I'm just bored with restoring my apps again after flashing...

Hi guys, I updated to v10 yesterday but now i need Sim toolkit also. Can I use old version of STK.apk...from 2.2 or i need a 2.3 version of it. Where can i get working version of STK.apk?

mount the factoryfs.rfs of this rom in "Disk internals linux reader" software for windows os. Then u can extract any required files

Thanks, I managed to open rfs and now I know how to extract files from that. Even found the ClockPackage.apk but – there's no ClockPackage.odex file, there are no .odex files. I didn't find clockpackage.apk in both cm7 and kyri v10 rom.

Do u want it frm 2.2 rom?
I tried to mount jpf and jpm stock roms in disk int... , bt it didn't get mounted. And im not sure if that .apk will work from a 2.2 rom
